My three year old loves it!
I bought this game to help my six year old learn to read but instead my three year old (almost four) plays this game and no other. The game can read to her or she can color animals. There are a lot of mini games that keep her very entertained. We flew from the East coast to HI and when the three year old wasn't sleeping, she was playing this game. We have had it for about a month and she still will not play another game. She loves it so I love it.

Great. Some small improvements would be nice.
My daughter will be 4 in December and she is loving this game. The graphics are adorable and the entire game gives off a very inviting vibe. The sound is good as well. Although the British-accented narrator can be a bit hard to understand at times, overall her voice is much more pleasant than most virtual storytellers and really gives the game a soothing, "bedtime story" feel. The games are on a variety of skill levels and I don't think a preschooler would out-grow them very quickly. There are couple of things that bothered me. One, is that there is virtually no instruction for the games. You basically just tap around on the screen until you figure out what you're supposed to be doing. My little girl got frustrated and needed my help a few times, which is an issue considering she was in the back seat of the car and inaccessible to me. She kept forgetting that you have to use the D-pad to turn the page. A touchscreen control for page-turning would have been more appropriate. The second small beef that I have is that, while the story is fleshed-out for preschoolers, God has pretty well been cut out of it. In fact, he's only mentioned once. Even at the end, when the rainbow appears it is simply noted "Noah was sure it was a sign that there would never be a flood like this ever, ever again." The fact that the rainbow was a promise from God, and not just a vague feeling on the part of Noah, wasn't mentioned and, from a purely Christian stand-point, that was a bit disappointing. Overall, though, it really is a beautiful game and fun for even me to poke around with.
