Absolutely fantastic platformer
This game is absolutely epic for any gamer looking for a casual or hardcore experience. Difficulty curve nice ranging from REALLY easy to REALLY hard.
Throw your sanity out the window and play N+.
This Game is, Quite possibly, The HARDEST GAME I have EVER played. But That's why I love it.That Difficulty makes it More fun, and it makes some pretty good puzzles. But Some levels are SO HARD that I Have to use an action replay just for that ONE LEVEL.
(For The Record, That doesn't happen much.)
So, Basically, If you buy this game, make sure you have good sanity.
Or an action replay, XD.
a different platformer
this game is one of a kind. with only a jump button and avoiding enemies to get to a door in a level, this is an addicting kind of game, plus it has it's own exclusive set of levels. but the problem is it gets really hard. but this is worth playing
This game is a very great game. Not only is it VERY challenging but it is very fun. This game is also very long, there are like 55 missions and each mission has like 5 chapters which is like 250 levels! And if that's not enough for you, there is multiplayer and you could play like ninja tag and territories and stuff like that plus you could make your own maps and share them on Wi-Fi! The cool thing about the creator map thing is you choose everything: where you spawn, where the enemies spawn, the background color, and you unlock new ninja colors. And what makes the game hard is there is time in each chapter if you run out of time you lose but time isn't the main problem, the ninja killers are (enemies). There are some crazy enemies like rocket launchers that follow you, laser drones, snipers, mines and a lot more! Trust me, this game took me like 3 or 4 months to beat so it's not short! So, if this review didn't make you want this game, read other reviews. I will bet they tell you this game rocks. If you don't believe me, borrow it from a friend or something because this game is one of the best games for the DS.
This game is such a great game to own for the DS. What this game is, is a ninja on the search for gold and goes to the highest level of extremity to get what he wants and escape safely. While dodging mines, bombs, turrets, all kinds of drones, machine guns, missile launchers, and many others, you have to keep moving, jumping, sliding, strategically falling, hiding, and keep thinking. As it says on the back cover of the product, "One moment of hesitation and you're history". Everything about this game, except for a few mistakes, really kept this game afloat in its game play. The first mistake or thing they should've found a way to increase was the amount of levels you get to create. I don't remember but I think you only could create around 8 or so, which was pretty pathetic. I don't know about others, but I like a game where you could create a lot. Another thing I noticed was that you could only create one file, which stinks when you have older and younger brothers (They erased my files twice). There also wasn't that big of variety over the music selection, and each song or beat (since that was all it was) was VERY repetitive, which drove me mad. It’s not that bad when playing the single player puzzles but when creating a level, hearing the same song over and over is annoying. Also, the touch screen for the level editor is a bit non-responsive which could cause unwanted mistakes on your map.But that’s enough for the negative side and now on with the positive. The game is probably somewhat high in its replay value yet immensely large in its length. There are over 40 episodes each containing 5 puzzling levels, which equals to over 200 levels. There are 12 tutorial levels where they show you the basic techniques and strategies of the game. For multiplayer game play, there are around 105 co-op levels, 50 domination maps, 30 tag maps, and 70 Blitz maps, which all contribute to the length of the game. There are 7 different colored ninjas that are unlockable, which was neat. You could also choose from the new plus mode, where the graphics are more detailed or play in pure mode, which has the less detailed graphics. Online play is really awesome. There are currently almost 7,000 levels created from other player to play from which is amazing. But some of them are unbeatable due to lack of testing, while others are plain ridiculous such as having a huge amount of turrets, laser drones, etc. just maul you and completely take away the strategy in the game. All in all, this game is a complete must buy for the DS.
best puzzle game for ds
This game is amazing, it's not like most boring puzzle games where all you do is poke, this game is action puzzle game. You're playing as the guy and you go through fun and hard puzzles. This game has TONS of levels, and if that wasn't enough, you also have a level editor you can share with wi-fi and over 100 co-op levels. This game is so replayable it's not even funny. You can finish the main storyline in probably 8 hours if you're a good player, then you can play all the co-op levels which will take probably 20 hours, and it's replayable, and also you have a level editor to make your own level. You can also download other people's levels which is cool. And for ** bucks you can't go wrong. A definite buy for anybody with a DS, and this game is challenging. You will have to stop on levels and think, how can i get up there. They made this game very challenging, but not impossible. BUY IT.
N+ is a wonderful style of gaming. A very simple game, with simple controls, but so much fun! There is no story line which i disliked, but so many levels, you can't hate it. Also includes multiplayer and co-op. I enjoyed the stage creator with which i could create, test, and give to my friends levels I made. The game is composed of episodes, which most of them have 4 levels, and there is a total of 40 episodes which will take you a long time to beat. After every episode, you will probably unlock a collectible, because there are a lot of collectibles. Collectibles are all different and range from changing the ninja's color, to stage packs. I am not a fan of games that are timed, but even though the game is timed, you'll have plenty of time to finish the level. The time in this game will probably never be a problem. Bottom Line, I would recommend this game.
Almost perfect, yes, but at times this game may get too hard, like episode 29 level 1. I have been stuck on it for a long time now, as well as other episodes like 39 level 2, but otherwise it has a good sound track, which repeats itself per episode 1 song, which is kinda dull but otherwise this game is great. I especially love testing the levels i make! Though on other reasons this game may be short, although it's length is great i just got it today and i already completed over 30 episodes, but i have been playing it nonstop. It has great replay value as well as many others and i would recommend this to anyone who has a DS. It is one of the best DS games out there. So if you're reading this, why aren't you rushing to the store right away? GET GOING!
Addicted to Frustration
This game is amazingly fun and frustrating at the same time. For some reason I keep dying and keep playing because its so much fun. A great replay value especially with the downloadable maps via Wi-fi. Even though there is no Online co-op, local does fine. This game in its simplicity and fast nature makes it very addictive. I have tried the PC version of the game and got just a bit frustrated and stopped. When I found out it was coming to the ds I had to get it. It has a decent tutorial and just a bit easier enough to keep me interested. An added bonus of course is the level editor which gives the playability a great and hour consuming masterpiece. How about you stop reading and go to the nearest Gamestop and pick this game up. You won't be sorry.
Get it! Got it? Good!
Yes, I said it, its good. I don't think there are many people out their if any who have not tried this game on SOME platform by this time. The physics of the DS version are true to the 360 from what I can tell. It is a bit small on the DS though, at least smaller than I thought it should be. One screen shows the whole over all field, the other shows a more close up view of your ninja and his moves. The animations, such as where your Ninja blows up from a bomb, is very well done. I'm not saying it's too small though... There are download-able levels as well as being able to create levels of your own, but you already know that, there is CO-Op play and adversarial play as well this further extends the value of the purchase. The fact that you can create your own levels and download those levels of others makes this game one of almost unlimited value and unending entertainment. Also it is worthy of note, that the price of this game HERE AT GAMESTOP is ten dollars CHEAPER than that of AN UN NAMED popular local /NATIONAL retail store, so this IS the place to get it at. Enjoy.
