Almost 40 and LOVE THIS GAME!
I love my DS lite and will hide my childlike tendencies no longer! :) I got this game used on a whim looking for something to break my Mario Kart addiction. I traded one for the other! I cannot put this game down! The puzzles are fun, I love looking for the hidden objects, the graphics are cool, I just love the whole thing! This was WELL WORTH the money and I do not say that for many DS games! I especially like the special effect tools that the player can earn along the way. The "Super Straw" is still my favorite! My seven year old and I play it together and he likes to use the XRAY tool. We have a blast trying to find the clues together. Its great fun for me and I know he is getting a work out in critical thinking! Awesome way to spend time without shooting at something or killing zombies! Highly recommend it for kids and adults alike!

good game
This was an exciting adventure filled with mysterys and at tiimes could be frustratinmg but interesting almost like a csi to invetigate clues using special tools to incover thing like hidden objects in water to fingerprints.this is a good game kind of reminds me like a version of wheres waldo because you have to look carefully in the picture to locate the clues i would only wish that it was a little longer i beat the game in like one day. I would recommend this to someone who wants to improve the skills in your eyes. i just wish there be a twist in the game... I would recommend this game to someone maybe of young age such as a teen. i do think they should make more games like this if i would have to choose this between mystry phi i choose this one.

Mystery Case Files ROCKS!
I am a HUGE fan of hidden objects picture search games. I bought this game and I thought the graphics and the settings were fantastic! Someone really used their imagination when designing this game! All the cool images in each room! Some made me laugh. After completing it once, I went through it again and found bonus rooms. Big Fish games rock! I hope they come out with another version of this game, only making the objects harder to find, and making the bonus rounds a little better. I recommend this game to anyone who enjoys the thrill of the hunt! I hope there are more of these kind of games to come. Nintendo needs to come out with more games that use the stylus~ Don't limit it to solitaire, card games, etc.. Mystery Case Files: MillionHeir is a keeper!!

Deffinately not my favorite
I tried the demo for this game so there may be some things that I didn't get to play that help to pull people in, but going off of the demo it's not something that I would buy. However the graphics are excellent and it's your typical hidden object game by Big Fish Games, which I'm a huge fan of so I thought I would give it a shot. One thing that I didn't take into consideration is that because the screen on the DS is so small you have to constantly move your focal point to look at the entire picture, which in turn the items that you are looking for are tiny as well. I prefer these games on the computer where I have a large screen to look at the entire picture. As for the sound I couldn't really hear anything all that way. I have a new DS and my other games I can hear just fine but this one wasn't all that great, maybe something was wrong with the download. But this isn't something that I would recommend.

loved it
I am a HUGE hidden picture search/find fan. I play them all the time on the PC and jumped at the chance to get this game on my DS. I loved it, played it a few times before trading it in (waited till I could find the objects without any delay). I think they should make more DS hidden picture games. I know personally that I would purchase each and every one of them. I loved how the microphone was incorporated into this game, it was an unexpected bonus in my opinion. I would recommend this game, and have, to other hidden picture fans. The graphics were nice, the storyline fun and catchy. It was a great way to introduce a certain website DS fans who were unaware of the maker of the game, to find other PC options. I would run out and get this game for children as well, as it could help with them learn to look at small details.

This game was fun
I am a BIG gamer on the PC so when I saw this game for the DS I had to have it!!! I also recommended this game to several of my hidden object gamers as well. This game was fun and the objects were not that hard to find like others I have played on both PC and DS. I have played this game numberous times and each time was different then the first. You would have to be a REAL hidden object gamer to really enjoy the game. I only wish they would make more like these. Children under 15 may not like this game because you are not shooting anyone, fighting monsters or stealing cars. The mini games are fun and challeaging. I like to play this game after the kids are in bed, huband watching TV and it's my time to relax. Again I tell you first if you are looking for a game that shoots, cuss and steal cars this is NOT the game for you BUT if you are looking for a relaxing but challeaging game this is the one for you.

Great Idea! Weak storyline...
First of all, I bought this game at Nintendo World in NYC (that place is AWESOME! Everything Nintendo is there, from games to plush to apparel, even a Nintendo "museum"! The space is incredible also; two retail floors and wide open considering you're in Rockefeller Plaza. The staff is great and I would suggest Nintendo World to all Wario's visiting NYC!) Now on to the game. MillionHeir is an o.k. game. The idea is great! It initially reminded me of those hidden picture puzzles I loved when I was a youth. The pictures on MillionHeir are wonderfully detailed. I counted on one image, there was over 75 hidden items, yet the puzzle only asks you to find 12. That is really cool, because your mind is looking at all these other hidden images and it forgets what it's looking for until it finds it and your brain explodes with delight!!! So far, I have seen about 10 or more of these pictures on MillionHeir. But the storyline is the weakest part of this game. I found myself not even reading the character biographies or even caring about their involvement in the story. I just wanted to get back to finding hidden images and playing the mini games. Which are also cool; a jigsaw puzzle game, a DNA sequencing game and this cool mini game where you are shown a drawing of a complicated "mouse trap" type of invention and have to figure out how to make it work correctly. Overall, this is a good game and I would suggest it to others. I hope the next title in this series will have a little more elaborate storyline, which I would buy.

Great game for a direct from pc series.
When I bought this game, I just bought it because it was cheap and I wanted something fun to do. I also remember playing some of the pc ones (which don't work on my computer). This is a really cool game and has a few puzzles and a little dna mini game which is decent. In my opinion the game has good replay value because every time you play it, it is different. Like which item to find and there is 3 difficulty levels (one of which has to be unlocked) and multiplayer and has a secret bonus which I am still in the process of unlocking. The game doesn't last very long (ten hours non-stop) but a lot of puzzle games for the ds don't last long and the ones for the pc didn't either. The puzzles were a little easy like the door puzzles from ravenheurst and even after your done solving them there still fun to play again. The controls are real easy to use, stylus to tap and move or you can use the d-pad to move (which is how I do it). The story gets a little complicated but is easy to understand after a bit and how some of the clues actually had to do with the story like the matches when you fined them. All you got to do is use your noodle, but overall this game is decent and a lot better than some ds puzzle games out there at the moment and that is why this game is great for a series that originally was only on the pc.

Forget It.
This game is probably the worst thing I have ever played. Even for those who enjoy casual games, this is one title you'll want to return immediately. The goal of this game is to find objects, thousands of objects, in an attempt to rescue a wealthy tycoon. Only a handful of these objects actually deal with the game's weak storyline, in which, you the player do not matter. The entire story is randomly generated at two points within the game, making it so you have no impact on what's happening. The art work is terrible and many times throughout the game the animations do not match up with the audio. On that note the entire game sounds very fuzzy. The controls/interface is somewhat clunky, and due to the game's poor in-game tutorials you may find yourself floundering around trying to figure out what button to press to find a specific object or where exactly you need to blow into the mike on screen to move a beach ball out of the way. Many of the objects seem to not read properly either when you tap on them, making the game play even more frustrating. Because many of the objects you find in the first few stages of the game re-appear frequently, the game presents virtually no challenge to the player. If you manage to play through the whole thing, the most game time you'll get is about 6 hours. That all said, bottom line, save your money and buy something else.
