My three boys ages 5,7, and 7 really enjoyed these games ( K-1, 1-2 ). They did not put it down. The games were easy to understand and play right away. We could not believe they would take to a learning game vs. a branded cartoon game. Truly amazing! They were so excited when they were answering the questions correctly and felt really smart. Even my 5 year old is really learning. Again we are amazed! We have purchased other learning games school house rock learning cycle etc. and they do not compare to My Virtual Tutor. We are much happier about our purchasing the DS game. We were not sure about buying them a DS game. That has changed. We strongly recommend these games. The graphics are excellent and again so very easy to use. This game was so worth the money. Our kids are learning and they are nice and quiet What else could you ask for.

We got My Virtual Reader for my 1st grade son who is not a fan of books but loves his DS. The wonderful thing about the product is his attention span with My Virtual Tutor is much greater than paper-based books. Now, he actually enjoys reading! He plays with the game with the same enthusiasm as he would his regular video games. Except now, my husband and I have the pleasure of knowing that he's learning valuable skills while have a great time. We liked My Virtual Tutor so much that we got versions for our older daughter too! And plan to give them out as Christmas presents to our nieces and nephews. This toy is comforting for parents who don't want their children wasting time playing video games. If your kids dislike reading books the old fashion way, this is a great way to get them reading in a fun and interactive way.

My son is in first grade and loved the game. I was surprised becasue his usual choice for games is typicaly sports related. I (his mom) encouraged him to try it and he wouldn't put it down. When his friend came over he taught his friend how it works. These are two boys normally out skate boarding! I'm disappointed this was not on the market sooner, I have an older son who struggles in reading and I would have loved to have this game available to encourage him and help him read. The game is easy to use and navigate. The interactive part kept my son's attention. After all who doesn't like to hear themself talk?? My one suggestion is to have familiar characters and short stories that all children identify with. I think that might broaden the market for success for this product.
