My Sims Kingdom
In my opinion I though this game was total crap but thats just my opinion. I though the original my sims for the ds was much better. The original my sims was okay it wasn't something to talk about or recommend. I beat the game with in a day and I was like " thats it?" I let my boyfriend borrow my game ( he hated the original my sims ), he though the my sims kingdom was worse the original one! I would haft to agree. The game was too easy to beat and there wasn't much excitement in the game. It was basically the same as the 1st one, just the story line was different and more thing such as items were added. The music was okay, charming at times. Overall I was very disappointed in this game and I would definitely not recommend it to anyone. But dont let my review change your mind too much, everyone is different and is entitled to their own opinion, so try it for yourself and let your mind and imagination be the judge.
I bought this game a few months ago, and it's spectacular! It was made by Electronic Arts, which make the best games. The controls are excellent, as you can use the touch screen or not for walking around. The sound is excellent, as the music changes depending on the game, or the time of day. The graphic are pretty good. The story is that a man takes most of the houses, the bridge, the trees, etc. and the island doesn't know who it is. You have to make houses using elements and bringing them to someone. You also have to pass games to earn money, and sometimes do things for the shop owners or friends to receive items that you need. The one problem that I have with the game is the kayak game. You have to pass it to move up in the game, and that's very difficult. I let my cousin try, and he just passed it. Otherwise, this is a great game!
Don't Judge My Sims!
For all of you people who keep saying that My Sims games are trash, KNOCK IT OFF! My Sims games are really games of thinking! Example, in my sims Agents, you solve crimes and defeat your enimy Morcubus! Here where the thinking comes in. When ever you had to pick lock or do that things with the atoms, you had to think once you went on in the game because it was gettin hardewr I would spend 30minutes trying to solve on of those and I did it! My SIms, My simsAgents and My Sims Kingdom are really good games! One thing though, they can't speak english, but in My Sims Skyheroes they can, so thats really cool! People who loove my sims are really casual gamers, like me! I love pokemon, Animal Crossing, Cooking Mama, Harvest Moon, Mario, My Sims, and almost ANY GAME! I'm am what you call a gamer! and I'm a girl!
Big let down
From the very first second I got this game I knew it would be nothing special, but lord that was a huge understatment! Everything about this game made me want to puke my kidnies out! The realism, if you could call a destroyed kingdom under the rule of a cupcake loving king, sucked. The controls were so sloppy my hands were always on the left side, and to make it scarier, I'm left-handed! The graphics were super sucky because if you look close you see a collection of pixels following behind your avatar. Pros: better and more minigames than the original My Sims. Cons, well I don't think they allow enough characters to list all the cons. If you wan't My Sims, get the original, racing, agents, or pre-order skyheroes but not kingdom, don't ,nope!!
A decent average game
This is a good game and it tok me about 3-4 days and about 8 hours so it takes a decent amount of time to complete. You can customize your character and roam around the island you are on. You can also make you own clothes. There are hats, T shirts, pants, and full body suits which include training suits, formal suitsand ninja outfits. The one bad thing is that it takes a long time to walk from place to place but there is an option towards the end of the game where you have the option to use a helicopter to get around but it's very expensive. There are a few minigames that are pretty good. They include kayaking, ski jumping, constellation spotting, and many more. You can customize the areas on the island. The story starts out when you live on the island and someone steals stuff from the isalnd like trees and houses. You have to bring peace back to the island. Its a good game overall but just a little overpriced. I recommend this game but it's probably going to be favored by kids and some teens (probably not a lot of them). Adults wouldn't really prefer this game I think. If you decide to buy this game, (which is a little overpriced) enjoy. It'd be nicer to rent this first maybe for a week but you can't rent DS games. Well anyway, ENJOY!!!
this game was unlike any other. You can do so much stuff in it, like explore the little town (which you can finish in 1 minute, town is rather tiny, your house can hold no more than a bed and a nightstand.) and sell food to customers (you tap on food and the customer walks away, rather dull). You get to create your own sim (but only ONE with limited hair and clothing options). You must complete tedious missions from the mayor including helping her find the house key (took only 10 seconds, its in her hand) The first time you fall asleep a robber comes and steals everything in the town, and then you have to remake it all over again. This game never ends, and becomes repetetive. In one point in the game you must help fix a compass by completeing random, boring tasks to earn tools to fix the compass. This task seemed rather pointless, because you must play tennis with a girl to earn tools for the compass. Every time the robber comes, citizens of the town (which you do not get to create or customize) cry and become depressed for no reason. You must waste time and effort to help cheer them up.you can beat the game in about 10 hours of playing time. It is an odd game that i should not want to possibly not recomend to people who do or do not more or less seem to not not unlike the other games from EA.
When I first bought this game I expected a LOT more out of it than what it delivered. The graphics are fair; the music and time can get annoying and the characters are pretty lame. When I first played it I got terribly confused and it took me a long while to figure it out, but after I beat it (side note; after you beat the game there is nothing to do except decorate the town) I played it again and LITERALLY beat it again in 10 minutes flat. The game is way too easy and simple. The only thing I like about the game is how detailed you can make your sim's....shirt.
The original MySims for the DS was a great, simple, fun-to-play game, so immediatly after finishing that game I got MySims: Kingdom and it was...ok. The game has the same controls, but the gameplay has changed a little bit. Instead of just customizing your sim and your house, you can also customize the entire kingdom! The thing I don't like about this though is the lack of simplicity that the original game had. The game is definatly much bigger, but bigger doesn't always mean better.
I loved the first one, and I highly recomend all sims games!
I have played the first MySims games, and I adored it. It was a little short, as mentioned before, but I absolutely loved it. I have seen the preview for the Wii, and even though I do not have one, I would buy it for the DS instead. I have seen some of the graphics, and they are almost lifelike. Very, very well planned out. It had an equal amount of challenge, and I am eagerly awaiting the newest one's arrival to my door!
This game sucks
I expected a lot more from this game. It really sucks. The game is short and gets really boring after time. The graphics aren't that good, and after you finish it you cant do much. This game is ok for kids because its easy, but if your looking for a game that is fun and will last you a long time you should get sims 3 for pc.
