Rated 4 out of 5 by from Like it, not love it... We purchased the Monsters vs. Aliens game for nintendo DS about 6 months ago. My 7 and 5 year-old sons were not very interested in this game at first. I found that the game follows the same story-line as the movie, where the characters (monsters) are needed to fight off enemy attackers in order to help to save our universe in some way. I like to play this game, since it is only mildly challenging. Once you learn the moves of each character and what their strengths and weaknesses are, it is rather simple to complete the challenges. Its graffics and sound effects leave something to be desired, but the overall user-friendlyness of the game definately makes it worth the purchase. I always feel like a winner when I play this game, Like I can finally compete with my 7 and 5 year-old sons--and win!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Ehhh going off of little information Ok so I played the demo for this game and going by the scoring chart it gets excellent marks. The board that I played was extremely challenging I felt, a little more difficult for me; also seemed geared more to a boy due to the monster that you play. The graphics were phenominal and the length of the board was good. I can really say anything about the storyline because I played the demo. The controls, interface and sound were excellent as well. But for me it didn't appeal to me at all. It's not my type of game. It looks like it could be fun, but I think it would be more difficult that I would like. This is a monster fighting, shooting claw game and I'm more of a simulation gamer so it wasn't my cup of tea. Young boys would probably like it really well
