Rated 10 out of 10 by LovesAssassinsCreed This game definitely met my expectations~
At first, I had to get over the fact that Megaman was a kids show (even though it was kinda cute and fun to watch) and that I thought that the games were going to be lame. Curious, I had received a Megaman GBA game. (It was Battle Network 3: White version). I played it the first day I got it 5+. Hours. Straight. It was that amazing.
Not only is it really witty and cute, but the battle style was pretty easy, different each time and was reeeaaallly fun. :D They had little puzzles within the game that were really fun to do (some of them had me stumped big time. xD But I figured it out eventuallY~) But seriously. Best. Game. Ever. And to make it even better, is that the plotline is long and not lame at all. PLUS, in Megaman Double Team, you have Battle Network 5 Protoman AND the Colonel dude (inspired by both Gameboy games). So you can play it with Protoman on your team, and then have a whole new experience playing with the Colonel on your team. It's extremely fun and I haven't stopped playing it yet. I got Double Team for my birthday (my sis took me into the EBgames and asked me what I wanted. No Xbox YET so I figured I'd get a DS game instead of Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood for Xbox (haha xD)) ANYWAYS, I've been playing it nonstop (even at school. >__< sorry, gym teacher) and uhhh.. yup yup, cant put it down. It's that, pretty durned awesome~
So yup. Get it, like, RIGHT NOW. Funnest game EVER.

This installment to the MegaMan EXE series will hook any MegaMan fan!it has two storylines, Colonel and ProtoMan, both different in many ways. This game is an RPG mixed with a strategy game. While in the net, you control MegaMan.EXE, Lan Hikari's brother. You walk around and talk to Programs, but sometimes a virus or "Battle" will pop up. If youve played any other MegaMan Battle Network Game, you know what this is. You control MegaMan on a 6x6 grid, and the virus, or Net Navi, gets half of the grid for their field, and you get the other. You take turns trying to kill, or "Delete" the other player. You use battle chips in this game, which are yuor attacks. You also get a Gun called the MegaBuster. You can upgrade it to do more damage, but I will explain that later. In the battle, the enemy navi or virus has a set amount of HP or "Hit-Points". You must use your battle chips or megabuster to delete the virus or navi by getting the enemies health down to 0. In Liberation Mode, you must do it in 3 turns. In the real world, you play as Lan Hikari, and sometimes others. The main objective of this game is to Defeat Nebula, an evil organization that makes dark chips, which are battle chips that have IMMENSE power, but turn your navi into a DarkNavi, which wont oBey your commands, and will use chips without your command. You will get, and sometimes HAVE to use Dark Chips, but if you talk into the Mike, and customize MegaMan in the Navi Customizer, you can overcome the power of darkness. The Navi Customizr is a programthat lets you equip MegaMan with all sorts of different abilities such as Standing above broken panels, keeping out of DarkNavi Mode. There are more than 35 Parts to collect, and each one has its own unique ability. Higsby owns a battlechip store in ACDC Town, where Lan land MegaMan Live. You Can buy battle ships and programs there, as well as a number trader, where you can insert hidden codes found within the game to Obtain Mega and Giga Chips, chips that are even stronger than Dark Chips, but wont turn you into DarkNavi Mode. Also items that will help you gain more HP. Now, let me tell you about Liberation Mode. Liberation Mode is when you got to an area with DarkPannels, and a boss. You get to control other NetNavis such as Bass.EXE, Colonel.EXE, and ToadMan.EXE. Each Navi has a different ability and "SpecialAttack" thats used to "Liberate" the Dark Panels in the area so they can get to the boss. Each area has a set amount of Dark Holes, which must be destroyed to get to the boss chamber. Each DarkHole or DarkPannel has viruses in it, so you must battle them. Each battle is different in this game, Because in Liberation, you must win in 3 TURNS, even Boss Navis. And each turn is when the CustGauge gets full Multiplayer, Ive never played MultiPlayer but its supposedly good. You can send you battle chips from your MegaMan Battle Network 5 Team Colonel, and your MegaMan Battle Network 5 Team ProtoMan GBA Carts to your save file.bat on your DS Game. This is a GREAT GAME WITH MASSIVE CUSTOMIZATION AND CHALLENGES! Any MegaMan fan will LOVE THIS INSTALMENT IN THe MEGAMAN SERIES! 9/10!
