This game is perfect for: casual gamers

This game has a good price and exibition is fun but the tourneys are not very easy. There are a lot of multiplayer modes in match up. There are lots of characters you can unlock (but you have to finish tourneys in 1st place). The controls are pretty good it will take practice.

this game is fantastic! Its just nonstop action. This game deserves 10 out of 10 now matter what. the charactors are cool to start with but they make them better by giving each one a cool shot or dunk. this game cant even get close to being bad. And this game is cheap. So its a awesome game for less. There are games that are more expensive but not better. No questions asked this is one of the best DS games ever! In no way could this game get any better. And dont forget that Nintendo are already famous for other mario games that its hard to believe that they could make a game like this and still have time to make other awesome games such as this. I just am estonished that they are still awesome in all ways possible. I cant wait for other mario basketball games such as this one!

I have always loved Mario games and Basketball since I was real little. Put the two together and you got a super awesome game. This is a game that is perfect for the DS. You use the touch screen throughout the whole game. It took me a while to get the hang of it, but when I did, I could barely keep myself away. You have familiar and unfamiliar gamers there, like Daisy, Peach, Bowser, Boo, Birdo, and more. At the last of the four tournaments, which I think is hard even on normal, you gain three characters: Ninja, White and Black Mage. And their special shots make it feel like a Mario Game. They are their own signature moves that fit them well. There are 3 different settings for 4 different tournaments, making 12 playing fields plus the last where you gain the last 3 characters. I love most of the characters and their shots, so I recommend it.

backyard lover

This had to be the game of the year in 2007 not only for it awesome graphics, but how the game challenges you when you play on hard, easy is like winning every game by 500 or more after you have played for almost a month, now on hard you only win games from 1- 150 depending on how good you are. To win on hard is like playing on expert on guitar hero because you just got done getting perfect on a song on hard then you try it on expert you can't get it perfect, well thats how it is in mario basketball you shut out a team on easy then you try the same team on hard and they beat you by a lot or you win by a little. But if i were you i would get this game not just because all mario games are fun but also that it gives you a good challenge for victory!
