Product Details:

In his evil plot to take over the Mushroom Kingdom, Fawful tricks Bowser into eating a magic mushroom. The mushroom causes Bowser to begin inhaling everything around him, including Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach! Do the Mario Bros. have the guts to rescue Peach and escape?

  • You are in control of two separate storylines. One features Bowser and his efforts to stop an arch-villain from taking over his castle. Meanwhile, inside Bowser, the microbe-sized Mario & Luigi must muscle their way through challenges and keep their nerve if they want to find a way out. They take action to control Bowser from the inside - but without his knowledge.
  • You can switch between storylines at will. What happens inside Bowser affects what he's doing on the outside. Sometimes Mario & Luigi must solve puzzles and challenges behind the scenes to help Bowser overcome various obstacles and advance the plot.
  • You must make well-timed button presses to enhance their performance during battles and challenges. In some battles, Bowser grows so large that players must turn their Nintendo DS or Nintendo DSi system sideways, blow into the microphone or tap on the touch screen with the stylus to keep up with the action.
  • The game features the same hilarious dialogue that has been the hallmark of the Mario & Luigi series.

Game Informer Rating:

Rated 8.8 out of 10 by Game Informer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best Mario and Luigi Game I have played all of the Mario and Luigi games except for the newest one - Paper Jam - and I have to say, this one is the absolute best. I sold this game to Gamestop a long time ago, and have been regretting it ever since. So I bought a used copy, played through it again, and realized how much I love this game. Such an enjoyable, exciting, and humorous experience. I would recommend this game to anyone with a DS or a 3DS.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Timeless Fun I only recently bought this game in 2015, as I am trying to collect all of the games in the Mare & Luigi Series. I expected for the game to be so-so, since it was for the DS, but it was so good, that I'm replaying it again, and plan on doing so whenever I run out of games. It's a great game that makes even highschoolers smile. What' the most interesting part is that most of the stuff you do is kind of embarrassing. For example, in one point in the game, you have to help Bowser digest a giant carrot, and yet it is still fun. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves Mario games and doesn't mind getting embarrassed, only to find that his friends feel the same way.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AMAZING!!! When I picked up my first copy of Mario and Luigi Bowser's Inside Story and saw that opening scene, I fell in love with the game. I would play it non stop. The game was challenging but not so challenging that I couldn't beat it. It's such an amazing game that when I lost my first copy I went and bought a new one. The gameplay lasts a while and it is definitely worth playing it again when I eventually beat it. I would recommend this game higher than a Pokemon game. Please, buy this game.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Highy addicting. I have a hard time remembering when I ever put this game down and stopped playing. It took me a long time to finally beat the game, but the whole time I laughed; got angry (in a good way); celebrated; and played the day away! I highly recommend this game. I don't have any real issues or complaints about the game!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite DS Game of all Time I got my copy back in 2009 when it first came out and I've kept it since. It's always been a very special game to me, and I feel like it's a true gem of the Mario RPG series. The storyline is constantly leaving me intriguied and excited, and the way Nintendo went about it is absolute genius. The characters are interesting and loveable. The soundtrack is fitting and very catchy. The graphics are the type to leave an impression. Not only is this game hilarious and lighthearted, it also sometimes can have a creepy twist to it, if you're into that stuff. It's pretty long, especially for a DS game, and also very challenging. Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story has such a lasting appeal that I've happily beaten it tons of times, and restarted my save again. This game is definitely something I'd recommend to you; it is SO worth the money!
