by ss0me Can't wait, will be best game for ds EVER!
I can't wait until MLB 2K12 comes out for the ds! MLB 2K10 was a great game, but it eventually froze, I can't even play one inning anymore. MLB2K11 was the same as MLB 2K10, but now I want updated rosters & a baseball game to play. I expect it to be totally worth $20.00! Go Rangers, I'll take you to the top in MLB 2K12!

Picked it up for $19.99 hoping for a good DS baseball game for a good price well i guess im out of luck. The game freezes all the time the Graphics are ok for the DS the rosters are NOT updated big stars like Jose Reyes Prince Feilder and Albert Pujols are not even in the game. Plus there is no way of Assigning players to rosters. It is not a deep game either basicly you play games of baseball. There is NO outfeild anamation all it is is numbers going around. A pop fly to center is always a triple because there is no way of moving the "Players" as they just do there own thing only thing you can control is the throwing. The pitching is wacky as 9 times out of 10 well thrown pitches are Balls. Truth is this is unbiased review i just dont understand why you take 2K11 elimate some bugs and glitches take out the stars and slap Justin Verlander on the Cover and call it a game. Im going to get $19.99 back from this Garbage. The hitting is near impossible unless your road because you never get out of the long innings filled with bad pitches and balls. Well summary 1. I wine about 2K12 2. I wine about 2K12 3. I wine about 2K12 because it is garbage.

OK, I just bought this game today along with a new 3DS (my DS Lite broke). I'm probably going to return it this week. How can you not have David Ortiz on the Boston Red Sox? I know it's because he was a FA but at least do us a favor and add him to the Sox. I think we all knew he was going to be in Boston. I might buy 2K11 so I can have both him and Adrian Gonzalez on the same team. I hate that the MLB 2K DS games don't have the ability to add free agents and the other cool features like the MLB 2K games on the other platforms :-(
Rated 8 out of 10 by bluntage Needs more game modes!
I would rather prefer this game have more game modes. On all the other game systems this certain game has a franchise mode. It also has you able to change your rosters and your able to create players. On the good side the graphics, sound, gameplay, and lasting appeal are great. My overall review? Needs more work.
Rated 0 out of 10 by freak229 More of the same
The pictures looks exactly the same as 2k10 and 2k11 (which I both have). I stopped buying baseball games for the DS after I realized that there are no differences between them but roster updated. I expect very little from 2k12 for DS.

Rated 7 out of 10 decent
The game has its advantages and disadvantages. They don't have Albert Puhols or prince fielder on the game which is a bust. Graphics are decent for ds. It is good for sports fans. GO BUCCOS!!!
Rated 9 out of 10 by TheSpartaKiller Great!
In my other reviews, I said mlb2k12 had about 3-4 graphics, but this game has great color and contrast making it great. I would recommend this game to a friend.
