Lost in Blue 3
Lost in Blue 3: No reason to get bored
Lost in Blue Three is a video game that has a different experience from many other games. I was always happy to find good spices, logs, and even the occasional coconut was fun to cook with. The game had very many features, and even if the story line was the same as the previous two in this franchise, it felt better, thanks to the graphical improvements. Fans of this franchise might have been disappointed from the last installment in this series, but worry not, Lost in Blue Three fixed many of the errors from the previous two games, while still keeping all the fun game play features. I went fishing very often, and I always cooked the food with different varieties of spices to see how good each one was for hunger. Lost in Blue 3 made the story good for previous fans, but easy to pick up for newcomers. The only minor problem with this game was that the cooking didn't have enough difference with the spices that you used (although there were some minor differences in hunger, nothing major).
Would be a great game if it wasn't sexist
As far as the storyline and challenge of this game goes I do not have a problem. It has been very enjoyable in that respect. What I have a problem with is that if you choose to play the female character she can't use or create half the stuff available in the game. Claire can create a number of items she can't use, like the fishing pole or bow and arrow. Since when are females incapable of using a fishing pole? She can't even go diving...she has to bring a male along to do it for her. I don't even know why she is able to make half the stuff available if she can't use it and none of her group will either. She can't make rope, rafts, or furniture without a guys help. The only thing the males can't do is basket weaving...and that is left to the only female character in your group that you don't find till much later in the game. Also, the males are able to attack animals whereas my female characters only option is to put up her fists and run away. It is unrealistic to think a female stuck on a deserted island wouldn't/couldn't do these things herself. I didn't find this out until I was more than halfway through the game and did not feel like starting over, but I am disappointed that I am missing out on these other features just because my character is a girl. I can only give this game 2 stars as a recommendation for the reasons stated above.
LOST in blue?
The Lost in Blue series are actually the continuation of the GameBoy color game Survival Kids which was released in 1999. Which, of course, is a full 5 years before the horrible, horrible TV series came out in 2004. The games are about real survival, not some fantasy, polar bear mystery crap. Anyway, the games have been fun, but for some reason I still like the original the best. It was a simple, 8 color game, but it was fun and very unique. I'm looking forward the new chapter.
this game is fun. so far I've got to the end where you have a portable radio and have to find the frequency for it. I might have to start over though because I saved my game and now there's a wind storm that keeps me from going out and getting water and my characters wont sleep and let the storm pass because they are too thirsty, but that was my fault for liking to save a lot. I also wish this game was a little longer but not bad for only $4.99. (bought it used) lol
Save yourself the trouble
The original Lost in Blue was an interesting, quality title about trying to survive on a deserted island. It was pretty interesting, if a bit tedious. I was curious when the second came out, and got it at release. It was EXACTLY the same game. New characters, slightly different layout of the island, new dialogue... but no changes to the gameplay at all. And this isn't an RPG- it's not like the story makes up for these things. 3 is going to be the same again. Skip it.
I played LIB 1 and 2 and they were basically the same game. At first I really enjoyed it. The graphics are great and the environments are huge but to me it was impossibel to play. Your skills decrease so fast that by the time you find the food your already hungy again. Theres no time to do anything. I play this game with cheats but that just makes it boring so overall its ok but I just find it really hard to find time to actually progress in the game.
for those who have watched LOST, they will see multiple similarities to the show. a plane crash, flashbacks on characters, and even the names are similar. like James "Sawyer" and Claire. just another attempt to get money if you ask me.
Great Game too Hard
The first one was quite complicated..but fun..the second I just died so much that I out it down and never picked it up..I do agree a challange is good in a game but the first two so far have proved to be so difficult that I put them down and never picked them back up... I love the game idea and searching for food and the cooking was fun but to me they make this game way too difficult for ppl like me
1, great, 2 great, 3?
I've had the pleasure to purchase L.I.B.2 and i absolutely loved it and still play it. I like the fact that there's so much interactivity. I believe that 3 will be just as good, if not, better. The fact that there are more characters this time around is a plus. Perhaps there will be more elements in terms of an actual storyline if the description is accurate. I can't wait!!!!!! A must buy!

i think game will be great. I missed the first one but I really enjoy the second. The game and the tv series are two totally different stories. I think the tv series is awesome anyone who doesn't like it keep your opinions to yourself, you don't know what you are talking about. This a preview about a game so quit talking about tv shows that a child like you doesn't know anything about.
