Excuse the crummy review Summary above and let me tell you this: Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days is a masterpiece and stands up there with some of the best JRPGs out there. The game takes place between KH1 and KH2 and chronicles the tragic tale of Roxas and his friends. Newcomers to the series will surely be overwhelmed, so it is recommended to get caught up on all the KH lore. The core KH gameplay remains intact and with the inclusion of panels to equip new powers in, the game's combat is better than ever! The games story is one of the best in the series and can really tug at your emotions, while the soundtrack, despite mostly reusing music from past games, is still absolutely amazing! Not to mention the graphics are some of the absolute best on the system. The game's story is about 20-25 hours long, which is much shorter than past installments, but it is still impressive none-the-less. This game is a masterpiece and is fully recommended!

The game has an awesome story line. It's fast paced fighting makes the game even more fun! There's alot of missions to do aside from the story's main plot. It took me around 40 hours to get threw the game one time.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

The only reason I bought this game was because I had heard a lot about it, it was on sale, and i wanted to see what it was all about and give it a try. I started playing the first day of summer break, beat it in 8 days, and I never truly stopped playing. It was the saddest game ever, I actually cried at the end. It is still my absolute favorite video game of all time. This was the game that started my Kingdom Hearts obsession!!! If a DS game with great graphics (in the cut scenes), an AMAZING storyline can cause an obsession, it is definitely worth a second look. I don't know who I would be today if I had never played that game. Take a chance on this game, no, just flat out buy it, and if you dont have a DS buy that too!!!! :) Hope this helps!!! KH 4EVER!!!!!

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

This game is all about Roxas' Life within the organization. The game features more of the buttons rather than the touchscreen. The graphics are pretty okay for the Nintendo DS. The worlds traveled are cool and refreshing. But the best about it is the multiplayer option. You can control the 14 organization XIII members, Sora,Donald,Goofy and Mickey. The story is really important to those who are addicted to Kingdom Hearts. Who was Roxas that you saw in Kingdom Hearts 2? All Revealed Here!!!

This is an amazing game for casual gamers. The graphics are awfully dated but the story line and gameplay are absolutely timeless. If you dont mind the bulky visuals and average audio this is a great game that absorbs you into Roxas' story. Simply amazing story.

While this portable Kingdom Hearts game has a few flaws, it is not bad for a DS game. Let me start off by saying this: this is one of the best looking non-sidescorlling DS games. The game is extremely fun to play. The way it makes it so that every single keyblade have a different combo is pretty neat. The game's difficulty is challenging but a few bosses had me trying over again and again. Another note is that the final boss feels a little too easy. The missions only start to get repetitive about 3/4 into the game. The story is one of the most emotional stories I have seen in a KH game (no, I do not own Birth By Sleep). The story is well crafted and flows well. The music is composed very well. The multiplayer is very fun to play if you unlock the best missions. This is a very good game that deserves a 9/10.

This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

358/2 Days is a great DS game. The cut scenes are the some of best ive seen on a DS game. The heartless are plentiful, but sometimes can be too powerful for you when they show up. It can be very annoying. The panel system is a good change of pace, though i find the command style of Birth by Sleep and Re:coded to be better. Some panels were shaped weird and required some innovation and made it feel like you werent at full strength. The combat can feel a little repetitive eventually, even with the huge multitude of keblades that u can wield. Certain blades are good for certain heartless, depending on the target, and there are enough to suit any fighting style. But they are shaped as weird as other panels in the panel grid. Magic can also be a hassle. If your fighting a heartless and want to cast, say, fire, you have to scroll down the combat menu, select Magic, then find.... too late, your dead. The same with trying to use a life-restoring potion, your dead before you can even use it to save yourself. And unless you fing, buy, and expand your backpack, you wont be able to haul all of the items that you get. The story is true to the series and almost had me in tears at the end. Although the star of the game is Roxas and Organization 13, any Kingdom Hearts fan will feel right at home. The plot goes into the story of, as stated before, Roxas, and his days with Axel and the rest of the Organization. It can be a bit confusing at times, but all is gradually revealed. Overall, the combat is solid, the story is deep and heart-wrenching, but once you beat the game, you don't have any motivation to play it again, execpt to unlock Sora, Mickey, and Riku in the multiplayer, but its insane to do. Even when i beat the game on the hardest difficulty, i didnt notice much of a difference. It's a great game for any KH fan, and is an exellent game to introduce a future KH fan into the universe.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

This game was great when it came out and still is now. what makes this so special is that its different from other kingdom hearts because you dont get directly involved with the usual disney and square enix characters.but you still do get involved.the story plot is absolutly great and blends in perfect from events of Kingdom Hearts 1, CoM and 2. My fave features are that you play as a Organization member and you play threw his beginning (Roxas {debuted in KH:2}) and the levels and very large and detailed and explorable, the gameplay is very customizable when it comes to weapons, because you can change its effects and shape, and you can customize yourself to magic and control your level up, you get ranked as well, has multiplayer features and replayable missions which involve different objects; recon, search and destroy, investigate, etc.. and very clan like feeling to it as if this were a real clan adn the steps they take to complete a goal (for example 'Akatsuki from Naruto series) and the game keeps you hooked and is fun to play, many hours of enjoyment and excitement, surprises and twists, and keeps you more knowledgable about Kingdom Hearts itself and the events between 1-2. so much to say but i definitly say this game is great and worth keeping around, so enjoy! :D
