About what I expected
This game is nothing like the Wii version, the graphics are terrible, the sound is terrible, and it's just not a good game.

Okay Game
I beat this game in about 2 days and I am not a person that plays games all the time... Just a little easy, but I was interested so this was ok... I have seen better graphics though.. =)

The best Bond ever...? I think so!
I have to say, I ACTUALLY own an N64 with GoldenEye 007. That being said, I still don't understand WHY people are so hung up on it. Perfect Dark was a much better game. But, this is a review for the DS version of GoldenEye, so let's focus on that.
This game is a REMAKE of the game for the N64. It is NOT, and I repeat NOT, the same game. If you are looking for that game, get yourself an N64 and a copy of said game. That being said, it also needs to be said that this is a HANDHELD port and NOT the Wii or the PS3/XBox 360 version. It is still a GOOD game regardless.
Gameplay:
This game has a lot going for it. The story mirrors that of the Wii game, and the movie, but it doesn't have the cutscenes that the Wii game has. The story is updated for today's generation, and Daniel Craig is Bond. Bruce Fierstein, the author of the movie GoldenEye, penned the new story. The "cutscenes" are just voices talking with some pictures added. But, the game itself is a solid shooter. The game plays much like the COD series, with the ADS mode and stealth elements. Also, be prepared to be FRUSTRATED. This game has some parts that CANNOT be beaten unless you are stealthy. If you are seen, you die. But, that aside, the multiplayer mode (when you can find a match) is REALLY the highlight. You can choose your game, your weapon (each time you spawn as well) and get nice labels for your name. There are also some briefcases you can collect in the campaign mode to unlock pictures, and you can unlock cheats by completing the "challenge mode" and earning "EXP."
Sound:
The sound, as always, is the quintessential Bond. The Bond Theme plays during the titles (sorry guys, they couldn't cram the new version of the song on the cart), but the game really has a problem with the voices. As mentioned in the "Blood Stone" DS review, they sound really distant. This game especially, more than Blood Stone. But, the sound overall is excellent.
Graphics:
Again, PSX style graphics. But, what were you expecting from this game? That being said, the graphics are REALLY good. You can see Bond's arms, the guns are SUPER detailed and the overall "feel" of the game (in terms of being "Bond-like") is great.
Overall:
I would recommend this game as a starter if you haven't played a shooter on the DS before. The controls are tight and the game and story are top notch. If you can find a multiplayer match or two (I'm on sometimes, screen name XoDurland) you should try it out.

An overall good game! XD
This game is quite good I like it better than cod:4 on ds.This gae follows the story from the movie..except some bits from the movie aint here(little dissapointing). But the games online I good too...I wish more people would go on it more often though.Call of duty black ops for ds is better...but this is one of my favorite FPS games on ds.If you are a 007 fan get this game! Terrific!
The online multiplayer is the best on the DS. This is probably the best DS shooter.

SO BADDD
when i bought this game i thought it be as awesome as the n64 version. boy was 1 wrong. 1st the missions arent anything like n64. enimies take like 1000 shots to kill. an the WORST an i mean worst thing of this game is you aiming you have the smallest iron sight on every weapon shotting an even smaller target, an the only way to aim is by moving the pen on the bottem screen up,down, left, right to move the gun on the top screen.

Great game... with a actor change.
The biggest change of this remake is that they added Daniel Craig as bond, but aside from that I enjoyed everything that was revamped in the series, including a scoped P90 SMG, can't have a better weapon, (maybe aside from throwing knives) I recommend this to anyone who owns a DS and are looking for a good shooter.
