Years ago, a tunnel connected livestock-loving Bluebell village with the crop-growing town of Konohana, but boisterous bickering between the burgs created a cave-in and collapsed the tunnel! Build a bustling farm, befriend the villagers, and maybe you can find a way to bring these towns together once again!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AWESOME SAUCE!!!!!! This is the best harvest moon game in 2013! (Cause that's when it came out.) But with the main charcter's child they could of made it so it's like for the male kid father's hair color and mother's eye color and with the female child they could of been like the mother's hair color and the father's eye color though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Major glitch in game Heads up to anyone interested in this game. There is a major game breaking glitch that can randomly occur at any point in time with no fix that will permanently prevent the game from working. Your tools, which can only be obtained once, will sometimes morph into a different tool leaving you without the original and no way to get it back. Because of how essential the tools are this glitch will effectively prevent you from moving forward in the game and you will need to restart.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Its...ok.. This game is perfect for those people who never played harvest moon and want to try something different. but if you have played many harvest moons, like me, you might want to try something different. all the harvest moon games tend to repeat a lot. i think they have to make a harvest moon that has an easier was to get married. in almost every harvest moon, in my opinion, its so hard to get married and have kids. so this game could become very boring after a while. you can try it out if you want but i suggest you wait till something else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Harvest Moon shines brighter than ever I have been a fan of Harvest Moon ever since Harvest Moon 2 came out for gameboy color all those years ago.I've played just about all of them and this game is the best since Harvest Moon:Ds came out...it's even better.I liked Harvest Moon DS but this game goes more back to the roots of what Harvest Moon is.Having the option to pick which town to live in is both good and bad.I like the idea of it but it splits growing crops/raising livestock in half, each town having one over the other. You can do both in each town but you dont have much room for the other.I picked Bluebell Village mainly because I liked the European look and feel of the town.I do recommend getting it for the DS because the 3DS version has lag/freezing issues. But this game is a must get for any Harvest Moon fan...Good job Natsume!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Addicting Piece to Harvest Moon Collection! The game is really good. The graphics are fantasic. The controls, plot, and jobs aren't hard at all. Its extremely addicting, and a great follow-up game to the Harvest Moon collection.(:

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Pretty good, not for older HM fans... Like most of the harvest moon games, you raise crops, get a wife/husband, and raise animals. You meet other characters, and make relationships with them. the only thing different is the requests/quests you complete. It seems like just another harvest moon game with a twist. For new HM fans, i'd recommend it. But for someone who has owned alot of other titles... you'd probably find it boring. (Also if you are worn out on the whole farming thing i strongly suggest trying the rune factory games.)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fun I had a ton of fun playing this game being a huge Harvest Moon fan. I love how you can choose what town to live in and that you can move to the opposite town. The face that both towns focus on a certain thing with farming is also a really good idea. I love that! I really love the character design as well. Althought the characters are too plain, I still love them.
