I waited and WAITED for what seemed like FOREVER for this game to come out! I am a huge gamer and a real big fan of Grey's Anatomy so it seemed like a great concept. But, unfortunately, that's all this game was: a great concept. The game had a lot of potential but I was real disappointed in how often the game lagged-- that was very annoying to have to wait ALL THE TIME for scenes to load. Never in a DS game have I experienced that particular problem but in this game it happens constantly. As for the storyline--- I was bored after the first 10 minutes. Again, there was so much potential but nothing about this game lived up to the hype. I didn't even finish the game... that is how bad I thought it was. I can say 2 good things: the graphics and sound quality were top notch. But overall, I would never recommend this game to anyone, well, except for my worst enemy-- that would be great torture. Bottom line: Don't waste your hard earned (or even not so hard earned) bucks on this major McBust!

Too easy at first, but more challenging later!
This game is split up into 6 episodes, of 6 acts each. The acts are split into scenes, and when the plot or dialogue hits a turning point, you decide what to say, do, or pass a challenge to go on. The challenges begin too simply and easy for most people, but they do increase in difficulty. The episodes all culminate in one final outcome for the entire story arc. I did enjoy it, but was hoping for more surgery scenes. Some of the tasks you have to perform are very finicky in terms of the exact movement of the stylus, and others are just silly. For example, you have to push clouds of people's faces out of the way to get to the character. In other challenges, you have to perform surgery, (my favorites!) or manipulate mirrors to make a light shine through a configuration onto your character. The later mirror challenges were much harder than the first several. In others, you have to catch these balls to tap out a beat to decide what the character is going to do, or tap on the same orbs that are three in a row to get past the section. Again, that one starts out boring and easy, and does become more challenging towards the end. You also don't get to choose your character, as the company information would lead you to believe. The characters rotate, and you are a different character in each scene. The graphics were interesting...the bottom picture of a character is the computer photo of the actor, while the computer generated scene of the same character looks nothing like the real actor. Strange. I am not an avid gamer, and completed the whole game in about a week. I usually got through an entire episode in one day, even with two small children running around the house. I enjoyed it, but I will probably not hold onto this one. I did like that you can save your place in the game, and you can have three different people's places saved at the same time. All in all, it was fun but a little strange at times. I am a huge fan of the show, and enjoyed having O'Malley punch Karev at one point, as that was one of the action choices.

I love the show so I bought the game. Biggest waste of my money thus far. It's like a soap opera that moves sooooo slow. This game was way to boring and had no point. I thought it was going to be like another surgical game i had bought about a year ago where you do plenty of procedures and get graded on your skill. Nope its more on the characters feelings and relationships. Who's sleeping with who? Why does this person feel this way? What should this character do in this scenerio. Should i keep asking the chief of surgery when i am going to get my turn? I really had high hopes for this game. I was throughly dissapointed. The only good part was the sound in the game. If I can prevent someone from wasting their money then this post was not in vain.
