Not a good game
I bought this game thinking that it would be a lot of fun to play...boy was I wrong!! It was okay at the beginning, but I got frustrated when the game told me I was doing something wrong when collecting or analyzing evidence, even though I wasn't. After so many times of doing something "wrong" your credibility meter runs out and you're "fired" from the squad. There are very few directions on how to use a tool and you cannot look around a crime scene like the other crime games I've played. This was a VERY long and repetitive game. There are 5 crime stories, each with at least 4 chapters. You end up analyzing tons of evidence from one scene, then talking a lot to your boss or suspects, and then going back to the crime scenes to find more evidence to analyze. The characters and storyline are very boring. I'm selling it back and would not recommend this to anyone!!
Crime Scene is one of the best games I have for my Nintendo DS system. People who aren't interested in forensics/solving crimes, of course probably won't think it's that great, but for the true Crime Seeker this is a perfect game. You have the opportunity to use different forensics tools that are used in the real world. The end result is very interesting. I loved how all 5 cases were connected, but you didn't fully find this out until the end. I would highly recommend this game to the aspiring forensic scientist or just someone looking for an interesting game to play.
I have always loved mysteries and crime scenes and trying to figure out whodunnit so of course when I saw this game I was very excited. But I'm so angry I spent what little money I had on this. I couldn't even get past the first crime I was so disappointed. I actually took it back the same day.
This game looks fun
For me, crime scene investigation looks fun. I have always liked. it. But for once, they put this type of game for DS, and it is a great crime scene simulator. The only part I don't like about it is that it could have better graphics.
