good fighting game
This game is a good fighting game something the DS does not have much. I got this game because its developer is Treasure makers of sin and punishment. I didnt even like the anime or manga before buying this

Good, until you watch the anime
i used to LOVE this game, now it's really boring. i beat the game, bought all the cards, and it was still fun, just beating up kurostichi and others. but then i watched the anime and found out what they could have done to give me a more clear image on what happened, and i lost a chunk of love for the game. i'm still thinking of seeling it back, or giving it to one of my friends... PROBABLY SELLING IT to one of my friends.i'm not sure yet.
but the game's good before you watch the anime, that's my point of view.

Another Masterpiece by Treasure Co. and Sega
The game is created in the vein of the vs. mode in Guardian Heroes for the sega saturn, or even as far back as Yu Yu Hakusho for the Genesis. Treasure has always been a great developer (part of developing Contra III and Hard Corps before they split from Konami, and then after that the Gunstar heroes series, Guardian Heroes series, Ikaruga, Radiant Silvergun, Sin and Punishment, and much more. If you like fast action fighting games, and are a fan of Treasure made games, or even Bleach in general, this is the game for you.

I have both japanese versions
I have both the first and second Bleach games for the DS, they're ok for a fighter, I think there better than guilty gear ds, and the wifi was decent some lag but mostly cause the servers were in Japan, I'm interested in how the American verison will be, but the thing that ended up being kinda cheap with this game was these automatic attacks on the bottom screen, and this really weird card system. I never understood the card system cause I don't read japanese but it to is kinda cheap and weird. Overall its not the best fighter, it would be awesome if they brought an online Street Fighter classic to the DS or an online Tekken but so far this is probably a good option for you if you absolutely have to have a fighter. The characters aren't too too small but they aren't very big either. Tough to cram in those characters on such a small screen

Wait just a bit longer.
My advice to you is to just wait, if they brought bleach ds to the U.S then they'll probably bring the second one as well. The second one is a huge step from the first one, the battle system is better and the graphics are a little better too. Now I'm not saying that this game is bad, it was super fun when I imported it, I just think the second one was better.

It sucks
this game graphics are horrible for the ds and the combat looks catastrophic. I would recommend that you not buy this game for your own sake. This would be a waste of your money

I couldn't agree more...
Bleach DS has got to be (to me) the one and greatest fighting games on the DS. I have tested the import version and it is simply amazing (the Wi-Fi battles are even more amazing, but tough), the only grudge I have against the import version is that I couldn't understand what's going on in the Story Mode (unless you go and find translated walkthroughs). I just hope the voice actors would do a good a job as the Japanese VAs.

Best Portable fighter
This easily has to be the best fighter on the market for a handheld. If you've played Samurai Showdown in arcades, or any SNK or Capcom fighting game, you will get the hang of this quick, and enjoy it. The online also allows you to follow your rank, and while still giving you a challenge, keeps the skill level rather equal. I highly recommend this game if you are looking for a fun time and the DS, that gives a throwback to old school arcade fighting of the likes of marvel vs. capcom and Samurai Showdown.

oh yea!!!
Finally a bleach game came out. The japanese version was awesome so i think this one will be just as good. Its pretty cool that you get to play as all the captains and use their bankai's. Also the multi-player mode is good cause your friends dont even need the game, plus you get to play people from all over the world with the wi-fi feature.

completely awesome game
This game is truly amazing, and a treat for all bleach fans, I have played the Japanese version which has been out for about two years or so and loved it. I'm really excited that an English version is finally coming.
