* Practice mode lets you get comfortable with the game's fast-paced assault of problems.

* Test is obviously the real thing, and it features an assortment of challenges that you'll have to solve quickly.

* Versus mode throws out tests for eight players, requiring only one game pack. The game offers a special perk in that it displays the ongoing weight of your brain so that you'll be able to keep track of how you're doing during a match.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good, but not as good as it could be It is a good game but in my personal opinion brain age is much much better, big brain academy doesn't seem to stimulate your brain as much. It's also really easy to fill up the whole pentagon thing that shows how much of each category you're using when you are thinking (it's hard to explain Haha)

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Im not sure...... This is one of the first DS games that I got. My friend just got this some time ago for her graduation and we think its a so-so game. First of all, it is not much of a variety game. I mean, there are not many categories to choose from to be practiced on. There are only five of them to choose from and that's a problem. Also when you play a category and you pick a game to practice, it gives you only a short amount of time-limit, which is also a problem especially if you do a hard level, since it will give you more time to think, then actuall y do anything. The third problem is that its not challenging. I mean im in middle-school, and my friend and i think it's a fun game, but a little boring. Hey, there are positives about this game like you can verse with your friend on this game, and it makes you smarter, but listen, im not saying you should buy this game. just feel free to get it

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Cute learning game. I actually did enjoy this game a lot- not only do you get to see how much you're truly improving, but you can also do multi-player and see who's smartest among your friends. It definitely lets you know areas you should work on- it's weird, because the games come off as if they'd be brutally easy, but instead, some of them do start to get a bit difficult as you get to the hard levels. Personally, I prefer this game over Brain Age because there's more variety and the multi-player isn't just basic stuff. You don't have to stop playing for the day and can be tested whenever you want as well. It may not have Sudoku, but for me, that's truly quite alright. The weird games make it worth the buy for sure. If you like puzzle/learning games, then this one should be simple to enjoy.
