Rated 8 out of 10 by RebelRowzer A NEW "TWIST" TO A CLASSIC BUT STILL LOTS OF FUN!
It's a little apparent that the classic game of Bejeweled has a new variation (hence the title: Bejeweled TWIST). The premise of the game is the same but instead of doing straight up and down, and across gem selections, you twist the jewels to match them up. It's not such a big deal. I was surprised at the change, at first, but quickly got sucked in. It can truly become addictive. If you can get around it not being the classic gameplay, you'll find a new Bejeweled game that is fun. There IS a classic mode, of sorts and there are cool extras like lightning hits, etc. that will take out gems. You have things that will block your progress and you have to think and be quick to move around them. And you can unlock new modes of gameplay (i.e. puzzle mode, survival mode, endless mode, etc.). There is also multiplayer available. If you want the original version that's cool, I love it too, but if you want one of your favorite puzzle games with a new look and style, that you can take with you, give Bejeweled Twist a try. Change isn't always bad. :-)
Rated 1 out of 10 by Limex Waste of Money, Not the Original
I play Bejeweled 2, and Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook a lot. This game really sucks though. From what I've played so far, the original game is not included, you have to use the new Twist mode on everything. So it's really not the same game. I'm very disappointed that finally Bejeweled made it onto the Nintendo DS, and that it's some strange new wierd version and not the same addictive fun original. Also you have to have two games to play each other, which I haven't tried. I will be trading this one in tomorrow. Play the Facebook version for free, it's more fun, and competitive online with actual friends. This version is just stupid. Also, the graphics aren't great, sound is lame, I rather have that eighties synth music back. Why can't there be a Bejeweled on DS that is the original game? And with WiFi and online leaderboards? Not smart.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Gamergirlz Love this game!
I had never played a Bejeweled game online before, but I have played Match 3 games like Jewel Quest and Cradle of Rome. So I know that I really love these type of games. I must admit, at first I was a little thrown off with the way it works, by twisting instead of sliding, but once I got used to it I LOVED IT! I've had this game for a few months now and still like playing it to this day. I keep finding new ways to top my score, more fruit, I even figured out how to clear 5 rows at the same time! I find it a lot of fun and quite challenging in my opinoin. So if your like me and you love the match 3 type of puzzle games, then you will like this game as well! I hope they decide to make anther Bejeweled game for the DS, I'd by in in a heartbeat!
Rated 8 out of 10 by Phenie A real gem ...
I found the game a refreshing change from the regular bejeweled format game. A Bejeweled game for my DS excited me and it has met all my criteria. I had expected something different when the word "Twist" appeared in the title, so I found the changes quite nice. If you enjoy simple and relaxing games, this will fit your bill. The "sound" must be okay because I don't even remember what it is! LOL It definitely would be nice to have the option to play the regular Bejeweled game as well as Twist, but I guess we can't have everything. This version was easy to learn and I think I'm beginning to like it more than regular Bejeweled (although I don't play that much). Nice escape type game and I find Pop Can doesn't disappoint. Its just fun!

Rated 0 out of 10 by NintendoPowahz For DS not DSi
Well, my preview is, in the trailer, it shows a DS LITE... there's a version for DSi, therefore Nintendo can get more money because after this releases, there will be a version for DS, and a DSi, and if you don't have a credit card, you can have this for DSi also.
Rated 0 out of 10 by GamerNinjaX I GET IT
so what your telling me is that the bejeweled twist i bought from the dsi shop is basicly a try out version for this one coming out? I recomend that Nintendo should give us a like bonus item for people who bought the game from the dsi shop
Rated 10 out of 10 by sean6yd Can't seem to put this one down!
This is one of the most fun and addictive games i have found for DS so far. Love it! I personally like this version of Bejeweled more than any other. The single player is highly addictive and the multiplayer is simply AWESOME.
Rated 0 out of 10 by im cool I agree
