Rated 3 out of 5 by from Beastly Frantic Foto ========= Gameplay ========= Beastly Frantic Foto is a rather simple spot the difference mini-game and comes with well over 50 images to play through. To aid the player it also includes tools that can be used if you pull down the drop-down menu by pressing L or R. On the downside each of these tools has a limited number of uses so you may need to play through the stages multiple times in order to find the areas where the differences will usually be if you aren't good at spotting the differences on your own. I'll also give the game credit for having varying differences on each photo every time you play as well. So, you'll never have to spot all of the same differences twice on a single play through. On the other hand the game never shows you where the differences that you missed are even if you lose a life on the photo in question. ========= Graphics ========= While this game is only comprised of still images it doesn't change the fact that most of them are of low quality and extremely blurry in the foreground and low on detail in the background. For a game that bases itself entirely on spotting the differences between images you'd think they'd have used photos of at least decent quality. ========= Sound ========= The game only seems to include a single musical scores that loops endlessly. It will quickly grow tiresome and you'll be thankful that you can turn the sound off on your DS. ========= Lasting Appeal ========= The game offers three levels of difficulty and a massive repertoire of photos to work through. Sadly, this won't make the game any more enjoyable if this type of game isn't your thing. ========= Scores ========= Gameplay: 7 Graphics: 3 Sound: 1 Lasting Appeal: 5 Overall: 5
