Bakugan Collector's Edition
Great Game, Fun & Easy, Yet Difficult
As a fan, I had to get this game, plus having a special edition Naga Bakugan. At the beginning, everything seemed easy, but as you progressed throughout the game, it began to get harder. Bakugan battles are simple, yet challenging. I'm not sure if young kids would be able to play or keep up when engaged in battles because at times, no matter how hard you try and how good you're think you're doing, the computer (AI) has the upper hand. Having to scribble, trace or tap on the screen, it would be a challenge for young players. Overall it's a good game with good graphics on the DS, I give it a 9. Being able to upgrade your Bakugans is a big plus. Storyline could've been better or longer. It would've been better if the game was a free-roaming, role-playing game where you could interact with dozens or hundreds of other Bakugan challengers like you do in Yu-Gi-Oh or Pokemon. But it's good for what it is and being that it's the first game. Hopefully when they decide to make a second one, more things would be added such as free-roaming. Come to think of it...the Bakugan shop was fairly simple, buy a Bakugan, buy some cards and upgrade your Bakugans. They should add in things like their toys, for example, the Bakugan holders/carriers and launchers. If you're a fan or if you're kids are fans, I'd recommend it. I will have to rent this on the Xbox 360 and see how it compares to the DS version.
Pretty Good Game!
Bakugan is pretty impressive for most of the time. Graphics are VERY good for a DS. Some things I do not really like about the game is sometimes it is just to easy. Sometimes the controls cannot keep up with you. One of the things I really don't like is the storyline. It says you have to help save the world, but you really just do random battles. You wil do a unique battle with with villains once in a while, but just about a couple times. In Arena mode, you can play as some of the main charectors, but you don't get as much freedom as in story mode. The wide variety of bakugan is very cool. One thing I really loved about the game is the graphics in the game. All the charectors and the bakugan look very impressive. That is what I think about the Bakugan Battle Brawlers game for Ds!!!!!
Bakugan VIDEO game YAY!
I'd probably never find anyone to play offline with (that and my shots may have been way off so a video game is exactly what I want, I hope it is online, covers season 1(or 1&2) only and doesn't require a flick of the stylus or for the wii remote a short toss motion. >.< I saw it for ps3 and xbox360 here but I have room to doubt they are real (if not I hope the 360 version doesn't require a flick of a thumb-pad >.<
I expected a game of the show called bakugan to come out and I am going to tell you am not even going to bother to preorder it. First I never really liked the show just like the game. I have seen gameplay for this exact version. Trust me this is not a game you'll want to waste your money on. I only suggest this game to people who like the show alright. so if you have never seen the show then don't preorder it because your going to be disappointed.
