Product Details:

  • More than 60 exciting single player missions.
  • Within Story Mode, players can play through an additional 38 Trial stages. Although independent of the Story Mode, the Trial stages add much to the game play challenge and depth.
  • New strategies also emerge by way of the Command Zone. For the first time, a Commanding Officer can enter one of the units, and by doing this, he or she creates a Command Zone.
  • Create your own maps and share them with your friends or upload them to Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.
Rated 2 out of 5 by from Chapter 20, the franchise breaker. I'm sure I'll get quite the number of people on here that tell me I suck at this game, whatevs. Chapter 20, the one and only chapter that I cannot get through, and I've tried everything. I even had to resort to using a walkthrough to try and just get past this behemoth of garbage! Nothing works. It's almost like they're not making anymore and the last insult they can bestow is a battle that's completely in the computer's favor. I would highly recommend the game, until this point. I'd rather run backwards naked through a field of raw hotdogs (for lack of being able to use a more inappropriate term) than ever pop this cartridge in my DS ever again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great gaming but doesnt hold value.. Great gameplay great multiplayer and over great game but i wish it held its value from buying it for 15 dollars to going to 8 dollars personally the only thing i dont like is that: in order to download maps you need wifi. and that it doesnt hold its value over the time :l over all i give this a 9/10

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Strategy game for NDS This is an EXCELLENT title for the NDS. It has a great storyline. You must lead your Ragtag army through Apocalyptic wastelands and survive. It has heart stopping moments as well as humorous funny scenes. It has great graphics for such portable. It has great turn-based gaming system. It took me like a month and a half to complete it. It has a variety of new characters such as Will, Brenner, Caulder, Isabella, Forsyth, and many more. Advance Wars, Advance Wars Dual Strike and Advance Wars 2: Black Hole Rising are nothing, I'm telling you, nothing compared to Advance Wars Days of Ruin. Its awesome!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy it, prices deceive you I bought this game when it was $30...and I'd do it again if the one I have now broke ;). If you don't like strategy games, turn back now, know which games are best for you. I love strategy games where you can take your time and think about your options. This is one of those games. It doesn't have amazing graphics but it doesn't matter, because the gameplay makes up for it. This game offers an astounding story mode, tons of maps made for you, and an option to make and play your own. it's multiplayer on just one DS, which is worth some "awesome points" in my mind. If you like strategy games, buy it. period. ~therunner

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Must Buy First off, i would like to say that the graphics, which everyone else has been knocking so much, are all that is needed for a game like this. and since they are so simple, not 3d or something, they can look perfect. But now back to the point. this is a fantastic game, with a huge amount of staying power. the campaign and the story are both great, with pretty decent writing. and yes it is a big upgrade from the previous ones, adding much needed units like battleships. i cant imagine advance wars any other way now. in summination: BUY this GAME! and you have no excuse not to, now that it is only 10 Dollars!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Just a new storyline! My review , Advance Wars : Days of Ruin , is it a good tactical game. It's not the best one but I like it. I liked the old one too. It's just like the old one but only new storyline. That's mine downside. The upside is the storyline is great , It's like the dinasaur age again. Also , the graphics is better than the GBA [ obviously ] .. If you like war and tactical games. this would be the game for you. If you are an addict and you play all day , you can finish this game in 24hrs. IF you really are good at tactical games. Also , the bad thing is the bad guys keep changing, I asked my self if where did the other one go , he gave up? BUT don't that let you stop from buying this game. I don't guarantee that it has a good storyline enough for you but for me , it is :D
