Nintendo DSi XL - Midnight Blue
dont buy ds lite get dsi its better you get camera, sound, flipnote studio, slow internet, and pictochat its a neat little handheld system BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Appearance and performance are great. I am very happy with this purchase. When I took it out of the box, it worked instantly.
Bigger than I expected it to be.
When I saw the size of the Dsi xl I was amazed about how big the screen was.It was a great way to play mario
The Best DS
It is the best option to play 2D games, the sprites look beautiful, the screen is very bright, the special pen is very comfortable, and in these 2 big screens the games look amazing, if you liked the DSi you'll love the XL, and now with the price cut is a big deal.
Okay so I got this DSi XL last christmas. I mainly use my ds for games like Rhythem Heaven or drawing games. The first month or two of using my dsixl the screen got uncalabrated and I try to calibrate it but ut just doesn't work!!!! I am a fellow Flipnote Hatena user and now I cannot draw and post flips!! >__< I guess this system is good for adults or little kids because they can't see the screen so they like a bigger screen or they just don't play on Hatena or drawing games.. but for me this type of ds is TERRIBLE! much better just getting a normal DSi...
I LOVE IT!
I would definitely recommend this! I previously had a regular DSi and I got headaches from looking at the screen. I believe it was because it was too small. Well, i'm not experiencing that with this DS! I absolutely love the bigger screen and it it easier to play games too because it is easier to see things! A+++
Best handheld right now.
It beats the 3DS. However, I am betting the price will drop soon, as they will not keep it the same as the 3DS. More games, better stuff. Plus, no gimmicky 3D and headaches.
I can see!
I wanted to pick up a DS once I realized that the PSP I'd bought for my husband was going to be worthless to our small children for a very long time. The DS has games for Early Childhood and looks like it's going to be very beneficial for our homeschool (daughter learns best by playing games and I can only play "ABC Go Fish" so many times.) My problem was that I have fairly severe astigmatism and looking at the original DS screen for more than 15 minutes or so was next to impossible. Enter the DSi XL: I just picked it up this afternoon and was able to play for an entire hour before I felt any strain on my eyes whatsoever. I know the resolution isn't as high as on the original DSi, but the picture actually seems to look better. I don't know if it's just my eyesight, but the XL's picture looks less fuzzy than it's DSi or Ds lite counterparts'. I'm really looking forward to letting my daughters play on this and having it for our many road trips. If I have a beef, it's only that the shiny cover attracts fingerprints........
i still have my original DS(Phat one) and in all honesty i never really had the desire to upgrade it at all as long as it played my ds games i was happy. Since the 3ds came out im considering buying for its price which is 170 the same as this just get the 3ds a much better deal.
Once the 3ds came out I started wanting it more and more by the day.
