Product Details:

The Nintendo DS Lite is a high-powered handheld video game system in a sleek folding design - loaded with features for a unique gaming experience. The color screens are now even brighter - and the lower touch screen provides a totally new way of playing and controlling games. Use the built-in wireless mode to share games, chat or even play multiplayer games on-line via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. Play impressive 3-D rendered Nintendo DS games - and play all your favorite Game Boy® Advance games in single player mode.

* It's less than two-thirds the size of the original Nintendo DS and more than 20 percent lighter.

* Its two bright screens can be adjusted to four levels to adapt to different lighting conditions and to extend battery power.

* The microphone sits in the center of the unit, and the LED lights are clearly visible whether the unit is open or closed.

* The stylus is 1 centimeter longer and 1 millimeter thicker than the stylus of the original, and slides into a side storage slot.

* The Start and Select buttons were repositioned for easier access.

* A removable cover keeps the Game Boy® Advance cartridge slot clear from dust and debris when it's not in use.

* Lithium-ion Battery(approx. 6-10 hours play time depending on software and game play activity; 4 hours to recharge)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect... Bought this for my son, he has a Gameboy Advance, but it is so dark. He also has a new 3DS, but it won't play Gameboy games, so this was my option. It came in Excellent condition, except it was pink, so I went on line and bought him a skin to cover it. It works wonderfully and he is happy, so I am happy. Only complaint, wish it would have been a bit cheaper.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Could've been alot better. Honestly, this is junk compared to what nintendo can, and has done. They just recently put a camera and AV playback on the DS(i). The graphics for most games are really terrible. And the speakers are to be abhorred, although, lucky you: there is a heaphone jack. Some games are ok but alot of them get boring after a week. don't ask me how this outsold the psp. the psp has better sound and graphics, better games, more non-nintendo franchises, and music and video playback. As well as comics and more. However they are both built pretty bad (on this the hinges, on the psp the umd door).

Rated 4 out of 5 by from preety sweet The nintendo DS lite has many pros and cons about it. The sound is TERRIBLE, i mean come on we want to hear what people are saying! Another thing is that it breaks UBER EASILY... but dont let that turn you away, the DS lite has many great qualities too. It weighs about as much as two feathers, and the graphics... dont get me started: and i love the new slim design, i just think that if u had to choose between any generation of the DS i would choose the original or DSi, the speakers rock on the original though, so id get that, and plus the new DSi doesnt have a compartment for Gameboy advance games... AND it costs like alot of money and i personaly wouldnt get it... all in all the original DS is the best pick, check it out, oh and the original also has WiFi. u can access the internet just like u can the PSP. so yeah. thanks for your time
