The nintendo DS lite is a very good system, but it does have some things wrong with it. For example, the touch screen is cool, but it is very easy to get dirty and the screen protectors can make it worse. It has great games; way better than psp, but the psp can browse the web better than the ds can and not to mention you would have to spend $**** on the browser for ds. As for the pictochat it is a little fun, but it would be better if you could use the built-in Mic to talk with friends. The online gaming is very good and quite fun and it is also free. The controls are in good positions, but the directional pad feels really loose all the time so you are afraid it will fall off. The battery life is very good so unless you play it all the time like I do you should not have to charge it that much. If you are someone who wants great games at an attractive price, buy the DS. If you are someone who wants great technology and more good T and M rated games, buy the psp.

The nintendo ds is perfect for pokemon gaming. I for one prefer it over the dsi because its to complex and its just not worth it. If you have a choice between a ds,dsi, and psp go with the psp only if you want music and internet but besides that ds all the way. I like the picto chat feature because when im bored i just go on that and mess around. Also it is for those hardcore gamers who dont give a hoot about the ds but about the game. The screens give off a good color also unlike most portable game devices it doesnt give a strong radiation. The light that comes out of the screen is easly adjustable. Its very sturdy. Mine fell out of my window( 3rd floor of my house) on the sidewalk, the most that happend was that a button came out but it was easly put back in. If it were to brake its very cheap to fix. The touch screen is also good. The stylus it comes with is very durable as well(not like it matters). Finaly the wifi connection is adequate with a good adapter. The only thing you really have to worry about the ds is what color you want it. besides that your good to go.

If you ask me i think nintendo is the best game company ever because in my opinion they never fail to please. I got my ds lite and it has never failed on me once the performance is very very good. The design is very nice and smooth but the problem i have with it is that the surface is glossy and it gets finger prints easily. Another problem is that it is a bit delicate. I try to keep my ds in the best condition possible but sometimes the screen accidently bends back and i have to move it into the right possition and that happened a few times and now the screen is a bit woobly. The graphics are pretty good but on 3-D games they are not that great but some are like metroid prime hunters which is an amazing game by the way and mario kart ds. If you are wondering to get a normal ds or a ds lite i would recommend ds lite because even though its a bit more delicate then the regular ds it has a nicer layout and it doesn't scratch as easily. The regular ds also can't play the guitar hero games. To end off i highly recommend the ds lite console. You will not be dissapointed!!!

To my thinking I think the Ds is not that good of a system for one bad graphics even the Nintendo 64 graphics are better than this "so call hand held". But i have to said that the Ds have alot of games for young gamers such age as (7-10). But the down fall is that the Ds dont have a lot of hardcore games for hardcore gamers so that a really down fall for gamer who like the Bloood the kIlling and such more. The Ds should have more sound if you playing a game and you have all these people watching you they will like to heard what your playing too. Another down fall is like other people said the Wi-Fi Even if you have a good connection such as (90%) you still get the worste lag and you get the bug and freezing of the screen for online game play. Sorry if i hade errors in my review I not a good typer and If i was to recommend this system i will not recommend it for teens boys I will recommmend a psp..

To me, The Nintendo DS is a great hand held system, and it works pretty well. I have had mine for an about two years ago, and it still works like I just got it. It is very comfortable and light. The touch screen adds on to a good game play experience, it can be used to chat with friends on picto-chat, use in games you don't need it for all the games, but it still is fun to use it. This system also offers online play, which is pretty easy to use, and you don't have to do anything to put the system online, it's just on the system. Out of all the colors Cobalt/Black is my favorite design, I think it's a pretty good combination of colors. The graphics are O.K, it really isn't expected to have very realistic graphics, but its in 3-D, which is all we need graphic wise. This system is great for players who are looking for a good new system, or gamers who are on a car trip.

Alright, I'm going to be pretty honest here, this system is pretty good. It has ok graphics, they could have been much better. The advantage to this system though are the two screens and one of them is a touchscreen. Having to use your stylus to do all sorts of different things in the ds games makes the experience more enjoyable for gamers. The console also includes pictochat which is a system where you can talk to your friends and just dink around when your bored, but most of the time you won't be using this because it gets boring after the first 10 minutes of having the console. Plus you have to be in a 30 ft range to talk with your friends or family. Another advantage is the GBA slot so you can play all your GBA games on this instead of switching the systems to play either games. Although I will have to admit the PSP console is much better with its features, games and graphics difference. I would recommend this system to anyone. Its fun, the game library is huge and the features on it are pretty good. But if your having a hard time choosing if you want a PSP or a DS. Go with the PSP. I have both systems and I've had more fun with the PSP.
Rated 10 out of 10 by AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best Console EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the best console I have played. I have a PS2 and the DS lite makes it look like a pile of trash. Its sound is good but not great. The graphics are pretty good. The touch screen makes it a lot more funner than most consoles but get a screen protector. Its slim figure makes it easy to fit in your pockets but I'd recommend a DS case because it scratches easily. Another good thing about it is that most of its games feature Wi-Fi connection but you have to get close to the internet source for the Wi-Fi to work. If you care about how clean it looks get anything but white. If you're thinking of getting a DS lite get one or two Mario games. Be sure one of them is Mario Cart DS. If you like Guitar Hero games then get Guitar Hero: On Tour but the controls on World Tour might cramp your hands. All in all this is the best console ever.

A really liked the DS and I played all of my advance games on here. I persnally like this more than the dsi just because of the design. the great games for it are tetris, mario kart, new super mario bros, and SM64DS. Those are just some. It has a bigger game game library, but it cant play movies and music like the PSP. The PSP has a still very good game library, and the graphics? If you tried to put the screens next to each other, a picture of Jesus goes on the PSP screen. they are AMAZING!!!!111 the controls for the PSP dont make your thumbs sore like the dumb "clickers" which I hate. Thats why I had a normal advance instead of SP. Overall the DS is better for a system if you dont want much, but if you really want a great deeper game library with better controls and graphics, your a PSP kinda guy. :-) hope this helped!

The ds is so awesome! in my opinion its better than the PSP because the ds has more games than the psp. Also its great for little kids who love animal games and mariokart! not to mention the guitar hero coming out for the ds! this is a reccomended buy for teens and kids and even adults! Its so much fun to play with and not to mention the screen is so bright. With the GBA you had to use a light! Now its like you can play it when you are coming from an event like a aschool event and still see what you are doing. I love my ds coral pink because pink is mmy favorite color and i love it non stop!!!!!!!!!!! Hands down its the best system i have ever owned and i own a ps2 as well. I think the ds will be around for a long time because its so popular! especially on the holidays! WATCH OUT WORLD THE DS IS HERE TO STAY!!!!!
