The SupaBoy will play original SNES cartridges on a built-in 3.5" LCD screen and is designed to look like an original SNES controller including a D-pad, face buttons, as well as right and left shoulder buttons. The SupaBoy also includes two front loading ports that are compatible with full-size SNES controllers and video/audio out, allowing up to two players to play the SupaBoy on a regular TV screen.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Old skoo' is the new skoo I initially saw this at one of Souljah Boy's music video a few years back. I thought it was cool but I didn't know it was a real product until recently, I saw The WKEND and Bryson Tiller post their Supaboy on social media! I work in the music industry as a concert tour asst. director and social media is a part of my life. Seeing this from artists I work with or people in my industry made me realize that the Supaboy helps them get entertained and relaxed while on tour or on the road or on break when shooting videos, etc. The feel of the product is great, the battery life is not so much (4-5 hours) but guess what, I bought a car charger for this bad boy!! haha I have a stash of about 30 cartridges I bought at a local retro store in Dallas and bought the Supaboy at Gamestop online and picked it up after 2 days! The Supaboy has never failed me for the past 5 months I have been on tour. MAde me forget about drinking and smoking. HAHAH

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for retro gamers I have been following this system for quite a while now and i finally bought one for myself. i absolutely love this thing. i use it all the time. i havent put in a game it won't play. fits pretty comfortably in your hands, the shoulder buttons seem to be placed wrong to me, but i have big hands so it may be different for you. i recommend this console to anyone who loves retro games. the game library is huge with all the adapters that work on it.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Cool product but sadly poor quality. Let me start off by saying I was really excited to get the Supaboy. The SNES is my favorite system and I still have a decent library or games I was looking forward to playing on the go. The system itself felt great in your hands, has a rechargeable battery, and can even be hooked up to a TV and has controller slots so it can be an actual system too. The first thing I noticed after I popped the battery in was the dust flap was too large. Like it was physically too big and rested well on top of the cartridge slot, and it would not flip down so I could slide games in and out. I read over the instructions to make sure I wasn't missing something, and I'm pretty sure mine was just incorrectly sized by mistake. I wound up having to remove it so I could put games in, which bent the little plastic pieces so it could not be replaced leaving the cartridge connections permanently exposed. I really wanted to love this thing, so I just figured I'll just keep it in the nice carry pouch it came with to keep it clean. I tried 6 different games to test it out and everything was running fine. I played a game for around an hour, and noticed the d-pad was not entirely responsive. Specifically the down and right inputs would often just not respond to the button press and I would often have to rehit the direction. Still I was hoping it just needed to be broken in a bit, and decided to give it a rest and a charge up. After letting it charge up for 15 minutes I decided to just test it real fast and see if you can play while it's charging, which it should I figured no problem. The game I was playing was still locked in it, so I popped it on real quick and just got a black screen. Surprised I tried it a few more times and nothing. I unplugged it and tried again, still the unit just powers on but doesn't read the game. I then tried the other 5 games I had previously thrown in before to test it out and nothing. The unit completely stopped reading cartridges with 2 total hours of me using the device. It went back defective to GameStop the next day, and as much as I wanted a replacement I just couldn't be bothered. I have 2 original SNES systems that still work great after all these years, yet this stops working after 2 hours and several other design flaws to boot. Great idea, exceptionally poor execution. Obviously I could have just gotten a randomly faulty unit, but I took it as a warning to poor build quality and a guarantee to have to use Hyperkins 1 year warranty one way or another. This experience and the other mixed reviews also has me extremely wary to pick up a retron 5 now too
