Turtle Beach is a mediocre company when it comes to headsets. Their build quality is cheap, the sound is mediocre, and their value is terrible. For a headset that was worth $275 and used on the MLG Pro Circuit, I thought it would be worth it. Boy was I wrong! First off, the headphones are extremely uncomfortable. The pads for the ears and the head are way too hard making it unbearable for even five minutes of use! Secondly, the sound itself was mediocre quality. The only time things actually sounded good was when there were explosions and gunfire in my gameplay, yet when combined with dialogue, vehichle sounds, and anything else you can think of, the sound is extremely unbalanced. Even with it's adjustable audio device it still wasn't clear and realistic. In conclusion, this headset is very bad, especially for a $300 (with taxes) headset. I would put my money somewhere else, preferably SteelSeries Sensei which have amazing mic/sound quality, light, durable, and under a hundred bucks.

In my experience, the sound is great for a CoD, Battlefield or Halo player, including the like of these games. What people don't realize is that this is an MLG pro circuit headset. It is meant to only be worn for short bursts of time. Personally, it's not for me. It's for when your in a tourney, and not when you practice. I hope you think wisely before purchasing this. I am currently contemplating on the Astro A40 and the TB Earforce DPX21.

This headset has amazing sound. The comfort level is ok. After about 2 hours of wear my ears start to get sore. However after 4 months of moderate use (I take good care of all my gaming products) the left ear piece went out. After a little research a lot of people are experiencing the same issue. I'm waiting on my replacement headset but for $300 with tax I'd expected a better product.
