Universal Wireless Headset XP500
Unmatched sound quality
Amazing headset. The XP500's are comfy, lightweight and easy to use. The only complaints are the clicking and popping caused by the interference from my wireless router and the fact that it takes AA batteries. For $290, I feel they should be rechargeable. I also have PX3's and they are rechargeable. Because of the Bluetooth, I'm going through sets left and right. As far as sound quality, words can't describe how fantastic they are.
The best headphones money can buy. Very comfy. Sounds are awesome especially presets. Blue tooth comes in handy if you have your phone connected you can listen to your music off it or answer calls and you can connect to PS3. No real problems what so ever just like every headset dont put them close to your Router or Modem. Completely WIRELESS which is great so no tripping on wires. Its not complicated to hook up either. You can even hook up your friends wired headset to it just so your friend can hear the surround sound on his headset like X12's at the same time. Worth the money if you looking for Comfort, Sound, and Quality. Most Definitely RECOMMEND XP500!

Just got a pair and let me just say...there awesome. The sound is so clear. Its also fun to morph your voice, although your friends may get anoyed. If your a serious gamer looking for a mic, go for this one. It will hold up for a long time and is worth the money!
Best headset ever!
Best headset for shooting online games because I can hear all around me with the 7.1 surround sound and it's wireless so I won't get the wires tangled up,
AMAZING. WORTH THE $$$
these are amazing cannot bag on them at all. they have great comfort, style, design they are lightweight. excellent sound hear almost anything on the map u r playing on (game volume is really high) reminds me of useing Astro A30s. me and a friend on modern warfare 3 r going on a 48+ win streak on xboxlive in face off 2v2 the amount of kids that yell at me during the killcam because i turn on them due to the amazing sound. defiently worth the money. no wires is a big plus no wires from head to controller get food/drink use restroom ALL I HAVE TO SAY IS BUY AA RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES AND AT LEAST A 4 BATTERY CHARGER buy more than enough so u can have 4 batteries charging and 2 in the headset
Just got them today and i already love them
Great headsets. saw that they are on sale at Gamestop so i exchanged my X42's and traded my games to get it. its really amazing. i can answer my calls when i am playing and i can leave my phone in my room as i jam out to music walking around my house. this is great, i also love the freedom of not having any wires and i dont have to worry about my pets chewing up my cords. totally get this if u r a true gamer....
I have had these for about a month and they are one of the best headsets I have had. Although I do prefer Astro A40's, but I do like these because their wireless. You do however have to find the best place to position the stand, so that you get the best signal for the bluetooth or you will heard an occasional popping sound. Their also a bit big for me, but that might just be because im a girl. Other than that this is a really amazing headset, especially if you want to hear footsteps.
If you have been reading some of the reviews othere people have wrote, you may have heard that this mic crakles or makes popping sounds. THIS IS WRONG, well sort of. Yes, the mic DOES make these sounds, but not because of the mic. This mics wireless signal runs on 2.4GHz, which is the same signal most wireless devices use. The signal interferes with the mic, causeing a static or popping sound. To avoid these sounds, turn off nearby wireless devices like iPods. Overall, this mic is very good. By the feel, you can tell it is well built, unlike, well...Trittons. The sound quality is amazing, and considering its all wireless, it's all just more impressive. If you were thinking about buying this, go for it. Just make sure to keep the box in good condition, just in case you HAVE to return it. Hope this helped. :)
I bought this headset because I am a hardcore Xbox 360 gamer. They work perfectly and it worth every penny. Now I have a friend at work who is a hardcore gamer like me but he plays PS3 and he bought the PX5. One day we exchange our headset for a week because we want to be clear which one is better. Our result is that both headset are outstanding and you just have to pick the assign headset for the assign console (PX5 for PS3 and XP500 for Xbox 360). If you will like the other headset (PX5 for Xbox 360) its ok because they will work just as the XP500 trust me, but you have to buy the XBA Bluetooth adapter that cost around $30. Both headsets are equally awesome and I will recommend it to any hardcore gamer.
vintage turtle beach
i bought these in november of 2011 & i gotta say i was disapointed they fell the same as every other turtle beach cheap the compfort of the headset is non exsisting you can barley go anywhere without it crackling & poping. the sound quality is decent & not to mention in less than a year they broke the same way all turtle beaches break the earcup hanging i paid a premium for these & got trash after that i decided to get the astro a40's 2013 edition & haven't looked back since if your going to get a gaming headset save your money & buy astros
