Universal Tritton AXPRO Headset
the best ever
the head is one of the best i have tried and used but the cost i kinda high and i still have got any thing else since my parents are bingin mean but theses are the best head sets u will EVER USE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D
Excellent but with a few minor cons
The first thing i want to do is comment on how great the sound quality is.I started with the Turtle Beach X11 Headset and was very impressed. This...This is just a whole new level. First off the only trouble i had with it was adjusting the speakers to fit my way of playing. It took me about a day to get all the speakers set to my likings. But before i get to the con(note how i said con as in 1 bad thing) i'd just like to say that any other gamer who has a problem with late night gaming and an issue with volume at that time, id like to say that you'd be proudly pleased, also great if you need it for shooters or anything really. OK, now the con. If you've read Class of 08's review on this product then you'll see he said that hes had a problem with the mic. Well, i Had the same problem. 80% will, dont worry, the mic customer support sends you will work fine. All in all id give it a ten if not for the mic but I still think it was well worth it. Hope this helped and HAPPY GAMING EVERYBODY!! :)
I bought this headset yesterday and at first I wasn't too happy cause of the amount of money I just spent. When I finally got it to my house I had do alot of adjustments to get it how I liked it and after that was settled. I can say it is well worth the money. You can hear and pinpoint which way they are going to the point it feels like your cheating its just that amazing. The only cons I have is the price and the comfort. The price is real high, but it is cheaper than getting a surround sound that you can only use when your family are awake. The comfort at first it was just horrible. The ear cup pads are very hard and stiff. The leather ear pads aren't as hard but they're just as stiff. I'm using that come factory on the headset and after a couple hours of wearing they started to soften up. Buy this headset if you have the money. Don't waste your money on X11 cause you wont get the same experience as you do with AX pros
In My Opinion This Headsets Are Very Good. It Is Worth Every Penny Of My Money, BUT There Is Just One Thing That Annoys Me About This Headset. Whenever I'm Playing Black Ops And I'm In A Game Like Demolition, My Headset Automatically Puts My Game Volume Down And Rises My Friends Voices In Party Chat. When I First Got My Headsets And This Happened To Me , I Put My Game Volume Really High Because I Couldn't Hear The Game. As Soon As My Friends Stop Talking For Just One Second. BAM! The Game Volume Goes Right Back Up High(Exactly Where I Put My Volume At) And It Gives Me A Ultra Headache. My Ears Were Ringing Because It Was So Loud. That's My Big Reason Why I Don't Like Going Into Party Chat. I've Been Trying To Fix It For A Long Time(About Four Months). So I Just Gave Up On Trying To Fix That Party Chat Problem.Trittion™ Really Has To Step Up And Fix This Huge Problem. I Have No Clue What Do To About It, But I Still Use The Headsets Now. They Are Still Amazing To Me.
A hardcore gamers must have
I use to have the turtle beach px21. Great headset for the price tag but like most px21 or dpx21's the speaker stopped working one day. They looked brand new. So I went out and bought myself the Tritton AX Pro. Let me tell you, these headset are worth the price. I have not messed with the individual speaker settings but plan to in the near future. I did turn down the bass so that I could hear footstep in COD. The Trittons are not flimsy or as light as the Turtle Beach, with that being said; the tirttons are more sturdy and comfortable. The Trittons T on the side of the headset glows orange which is extremely nice looking at night. IMO, the Tritton AX Pro are a better headset than the Turtle Beach DPX21.
Bought these a week or so ago. these are awesome. you can pinpoint where the enemy is on MW2. the suroung sound these produce are amazing. took a little while to get used to and find the settings that i like. kinda exspensive but its worth it. love it for gaming on 360 havent tried it on ps3 cause i dont own one. but tried it on my pc. my pc has a built in suround sound adio card, but it didnt sound good on my pc. but i dont blame the headset cause its obvious that its beacause of my adio card. but hooked these up to my pc using the optical out and wow! so if using for pc if you can hook it up using the optical cable, or youll probably have to upgrade the audio card. all in all love this headset. great sound and the suround sound is awesome at pinpointing people in gameplay no matter where they are around you. i set mine by starting off with all channels set to green, then change front to the first blue, and rear to the last green and center to one click lower than rear and set the subwoofer to blue. and i turn the surround all the way up on the delay and 3 clicks lower on the center channel on the grey box.
Originally I bought the Triton Ghost Recon gaming headset but it was surprisingly not compatible with the PC. When looking for a headset I wanted a headset that worked on PC and Xbox. So I was able to exchange the Ghost Recon's for these and I like them better. (However I was completely happy with the performance of the Ghost Recon headset) The AXpro's sound great with crisp sounds and great bass too. I like that I can adjust each speaker level to my liking when playing a game or watching a movie.
Nothing less than the best
This is the greatest gaming headset ever! I would get these if they were $300! When you think about how amazing the quality is, $300 is an appropriate price, yet they are under $200! What a deal! If you are a hardcore gamer this is the headset you NEED!
Happy with my purchase.
OK. So I read the reviews and was a little worried. Especially the guy that said the mic didn't work. Well mine worked fine. So I was happy about that. Honestly the sound while it didn't blow me away, it is really good quality. I've heard sounds I haven't before, and it just makes the overall game sound better. Granted I only play Call Of Duty, but it makes the guns sound alot more...gunish. I guess you could say. It felt pretty sturdy, but then again I try to be easy with my gear...if you play Call of Duty this (or any other choice of high end headset) is a must. In just my first 15 matches tonight with it, my K/D ratio went up .86 points...now I know that doesn't sound like alot but I had already accumulated over 1500 kills...so it takes alot. It's well worth the money if you have it to spend. Don't pay attention to the negative reviews. -Adam.
Not as bad as others say.
I just picked these up the other day and I have to say they work just as described. The fact that there is so much custimization when it comes to these headsets is amazing. Unlike most turtle Beaches, you can use this for both XBOX and PS3 and even the the PC. The price is just right for what you get, not to mention these are true 5.1 surround sound not simulated. The only bad thing about these is the plethora of cords. Other then that, game on! P.S.- The weight is not that bad, other gamers just need to quit being such soft babies
