Worst headset ever
I just got this headset and I hate them already. They sound bad plus they are not comfortable. The volume level does not go that high. If you are playing online you cannot turn up the voice chat volume. Probably the worst headset that I have bought.

Mic Problem
Pros:
-It Glows!
-Better Then a Turtle beach
-Has good Bass and surround sound
Cons:
-Doesn't work with mic chat and the game music at the same time for Wii U.
-Supposed to be a update but still hasn't come out for the system yet and Nintendo said "only registered game headsets can support it.

Better than turtle beach...
After spending about 140-150 dollars on a turtle beach wireless headset that broke in less than 5 months I bought this set. Great price for a wireless set. Good for playing games or watching movies for 4-6 hours at a time with minimal discomfort, except what is to be expected from wearing a headset for an extended period of time. Fairly good audio when I need to be quite and can't play my Bose home theater. Good battery life on a single charge/quick charging. Overall a great buy.

Awesome reviews not so awesome purchase!
The reviews for this pair of headphones had me pumped to go buy them! But unfortunately getting home to use them was the biggest mistake ever. Here's why: They are extremely tight on the head, even with the soft ear padding it was still uncomfortable. Did a mic test, lots of background noise. And here is the best part; I couldn't adjust the sound on the headset. Let alone I couldn't get it to work without having one of those stupid adapters for audio. And even then, i couldn't adjust the sound, no matter which dial i spun, it stayed the same. Taking them back for Turtle CrapBeaches.

Good quality bad design
Well I am a big guy I am very tall really round head. The top piece of clear plastic would be the wrost. And to solve all your static probs with this head sets its just you have it on to much to the gamming side of to the chat side I fixed it today. It is really good. I really didnt like the guy that sold this to me they didnt even ask me for the color I wanted. Everything else was fine easy to setup. Took me 2 mins to figure it out. Its really nice overall. 1 tip if you are really loud put some cotton over your mic it helps reduce the pain you give to your friends ears when you talk.

Fair but not worth it
The headset is good but they have a buzzing when ever you charge and talk, the mic is to close, and it fades and is full of staic when you talk.

Excellent headset for the price
So to start this off I will first say i am a huge fan of Triton headsets. I have used all different kinds of Triton headsets, both wired and wireless to include the Triton warhead. I did enjoy their base model wired and I love the warheads. But alas how many people have $300 to spend on a gaming headset. Now as i said i am a huge Triton fan, but the after glow universal wireless headsets are a notch above in almost all categories.
I have had many problems with the mics from turtle beach so we won't even compare those. Instead i will compare the Triton primer to the afterglows. Both roughly the same price depending on the day. Triton's i think are a bit cheaper usually though. Anyway, back to the comparison.
Triton's are known for their sound quality and i agree they are very good on most models but the primer is not one of those. For general non-fps shooting games it is fine, but when you get into a heavy firefight you will notice a lot problems with the clarity of the sound. It is as if the headset is having a hard time keeping up with all the gunshots going off from multiple players. if you don't play fps then you're fine but if you do this poses a problem. it becomes harder to hear your surroundings clearly. Now the Afterglows on the other hand have great sound quality regardless of the style of game play. With the three audio modes it is really up to the gamer. I personally have found the true audio to be the best of its options. Now i have found a downside to the afterglows as opposed to the tritons IMHO. The tritons have two individual controls for the game audio and the chat audio. A nice easy to figure out feature. The afterglows have general volume control for the headsets and an audio balance control, meaning you can set the volume to a specific level and it will never get louder unless you change the volume. the balance control changes the balance of your overall volume between chat and game sound. It takes some time to get used to but it works pretty darn well. Still it is different. On that note i have discovered that after you power down what ever gaming system you use it will sometimes have a problem where the audio settings you had set prior to the shutting down will still be there but they will not change when the controls are used when reconnected to the system. This has an easy fix. Simply restart your headsets (power off then back on) and your problems magically are fixed. Crazy right.
Now on to the mic's. They both have mics and they both work. The triton primer has a hard time staying connected though. I got a lot of chat cutting out while i was using the headset. It might have just been the one i purchased or it may have been something else. Bottom line, mine had problems right out of the box. The afterglows have a different problem. The mic (at least the one i own) is very sensitive. Mind you my gaming station is in a section of my basement where there is no finished walls. So the concrete may be causing my voice to ricochet more than normal. Regardless i have to whisper to keep my chat voice from sounding like i am screaming into the mic when it is in its intended postion. My voice also projects a lot as it is so my problems become more pronounced with overly sensitive mics. There is a solution though. bend the mic as far back around as you can so it is facing away from you and it is clear as day and it doesn't sound like you scream at your tv all the time when you are losing horribly.
Range for the tritons is as advertised. The afterglows depends on your house. If you have an old house with lead paint, it drops to about half of what is advertised. Still that is more than the tritons.
Now last but not least i will talk about comfort. This is where the afterglows really beat the tritons. Unfortunately the only comfy pair of tritons i have worn are the warheads. I have big ears and most of their headsets only have 40mm speakers, thus they have smaller muffs. Also the band that connects the speakers compresses after a short time(45min or so) and starts to become uncomfortable. But the warheads don't have small speakers or muffs and don't have the comfort issue with the band. The afterglows have bigger speakers and a wider band connecting them. Much more comfy, especially for long periods of wear. The muffs on both headsets could use some extra fill IMO but that's because i have big ears. That's where my garbage turtle beach headsets come in. With a little effort you can get your turtle beach muffs onto the afterglows and it makes a world of difference. 50mm to 50mm.
Overall my choice but a pretty good margin is the Afterglows. I didn't mention a lot of the extra features of the afterglows because it would have made it harder to compare to other gaming headsets. So basic use with your system(mine is the xbox). Hope you found this useful. Enjoy gaming everyone.

2nd best headset I have ever used.
I love this headset. It looks pretty cool, it's easy to use, and it is worth the price. I will make a follow-up review in a few weeks but for right now here is what I like about it; The sound quality is great. I can leave my house and still hear my game. The padding is comfortable. The only headset I have used that is better is the Tritton AXPRO headset.
