Terrible for the price.
I got this headset about a year back. It is a good headset when it works, but it breaks too easily. I sent it out for repair about a month back and got it back. had it for 2 weeks and it broke again. I am fed up with Turtle Beach. Their support team took about 3 weeks to contact me about the repair. It really ticked me off. For the price now they are ok but when i bought them for $100 a year back. No. I do not recommend this headset to anyone. I am thinking on buying a pair of Trittons. DO NOT BUY THIS HEADSET!

Not that great
I got this headset for Christmas, and it was working fine for about 4 months. But unfortunately, Turtle Beach used cheap plastic for the frame of the headset and I have two strands of duct tape on either side of the headset because the casing had broke. On top of all that, my mic was shorting out and the sound was distorting just last night. I would say that if you want a good headset, DON'T BUY THESE!!!

i love these turtle beach the sound on mw3 is great but is great on any game i just paid for a new tv and i cant hook it up to a hmdi but i love the sound u can plug it up to ur phone and talk or listen to music . everbody should get these ;)

Don't buy this!
OK. So you may be wondering why I think this sucks. Well here is is: I have had this for only six months and it is already broken! About two months in, the Xbox mic cable quit! Now, the entire right speaker is gone!!!!!! I used t be able to jiggle where the wire from the headset meets the selector switch but now nothing. If you do decide to buy this, KEEP THE WARRANTY! I would save up my money for a wireless one anyway the cord on this is annoying also!

Great for a while
Yes I rated it high...for when it wants to work. It's a cheap headset and the right ear cuts out after a while. Had to tape down the wire in a certain area so I can hear while gaming. I got them back in January and they worked great til the end of May when the right ear part gave out because of the wires. Today the left one just flat out gave up and they are unusable.

Amazing sound, poor construction
I bought this headset maybe 6-8 months ago and roughly 2 months ago the sound started cutting out, though I could move the wires and tape them together for a short time. I loved them because of the ability to feel the explosions and know that someone was running behind me, but because TB used cheap wires they don't last long if you're a constant gamer like me.

Great till they broke.
I absolutely loved these when I fist got them. I could play games late at night without having to worry about waking someone up because they plugged straight into the T.V. After about 2 months (maximum) the sound started cutting out in one ear. I could tape the wire in a certain spot for a while but that doesn't work anymore. I am very upset because I don't have money for a new pair.

Decent, but cords break easy.
I bought this for myself and they were my first turtle beaches. I guess they were good for thirty days but then the talkback cable broke. This happened repeaditly until the wire from the headset to the volume control staticed when it moved slightly. I probably am going to get a TRITTON headset or a different one.

i got this headset as a present from my parents on black friday and when i got them i thought they were amazing but a few months later when i was playing black opps it turned my chat and game volume way down so i thought that i needed to turn it up more but it did nothing and the only way it works if i ducktap the left wire to the headset and it keeps shutting off and even to make it worse my parents bought it for 100$ DO NOT BUY THIS

Great for the first week...
These were purchased for my birthday and were fantastic for the first week or so, but then they started cutting out and getting a lot of static, especially with the louder sounds. This was upsetting because the volume wasn't even up all the way, maybe 3/4 with the bass boost at about half. Overall I wouldn't recommend this even though Turtle Beach offers a one year warranty so I am returning for the Sony PS3 Wireless Headset.
