DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I bought this item for my son. It comes with a download cd. We didn't see the cd because it was in back of package so it got thrown away. I have been emailing customer service and calling to purchase a new cd. They will not help me and will not give me a call back with a download code.(even though they say they will call back they don't. they did this twice) They think I need to purchase a whole new system! This is a complicated product and on top of that has horrible customer service! Buy a different system with better ratings! With this having an overall 5star I see I am not the only one who thinks this system and there customer service is a joke!

The Roxio Game Capture
The Roxio Game Capture is an good product, but there are many flaws that just make recording annoying to do. For one, the audio of the video go high and low pitched, no matter what's your recording. Also, the frame rate will speed up at time. The Roxio is not the best, but if you can bypass all this issues; The Roxio is good for what it worth.

Perfect if Youtube is not your life.
After reading the last review, which was rather poor in my opinion, I decided to make this review very detailed. Yes, it only records in 480p, but I must ask you this question. How badly do you need 1080i quality? Well for what I do, no, I do not need 1080i quality, my subscribers on Youtube do not need it either. As for how well this product performs, the software runs just fine on my slow laptop. Most laptops today could run the software easily, considering that my laptop cost only $300 dollars and was a 2010 model. If anyone has worries about breaking this thing, don't. While the capture card is rather hollow, it has gone through enough to prove it's durability. Watch the video below to see the quality of the Roxio game capture. I feel that most people don't stress it to it's maximum potential, which usually leads to bad quality for them.

Trash
Ended up getting this for a friend, worst purchase I could have made. The device packaging forgets to mention that it only outputs at 480p, and at times dips below even 30FPS when recording. To make matters worse if your actual TV isn't over a specific minimum size (I don't know the actual minimum, I just know the TV being used was too small.) your TV will only output a warped or missing signal. Ended up returning it in a few hours.
