Red Samurai PlayStation 3 Wired Headset
Everybody that i would play with on Black Ops 2 would always tell me that they could not here me even though there mics chat volume was all the way up. And second they broke in the first two months which i mean they don't cost much so what do you expect. DO NOT GET THESE
The headset was cheap and affordable but it only has one defect. The hearing for this headset is great but the mic was too quiet. I was playing with friends and I used these. They said they couldn't hear me even though my mic volume was at 5.
I got this headset less then 60 days and now I get static most of the time and some of the time it just doesn't work at all. I would not recommend buying this. It only last long enough to be unreturnable leaving you with a headset shaped paper weight. I say look for something else. This product will not last.
We purchased the headset for my son for xmas, but wanted to try it out first. We enjoy the dual games and enjoyed the headset we purchased. We decided to purchase another set so when playing together we could all be included in the chat. The second headset can't for some reason be used. I have looked for information about this and have come up short.
As far as the quality of the headset; the ear piece is just a bit small but can be dealt with. the cord is long to allow the user to sit further from the television, the mute button is easy to access, but I can see how the microphone could become damaged as it is flexible. For the price...I guess 30.00 is a little high as I am sure the only thing you are really paying for is the PlayStation name. The guide that comes with it is a "Quick Setup Guide" and provides no other information. Not even on the website provided.
I suppose it is back to the store for one headset. Would I recommend this to a friend? Yes if I knew they couldn't afford the turtlebeach headset. For a younger person first starting out on the headset yes I would recommend these as they aren't too loud and overbearing.
Good price, poor quality
I could seriously kick myself for not reading the product reviews before purchasing. The headset design is great (albeit a little cheap): nice design, comfy ear piece, mic is adjustable and doesn't pick up a lot of background noise etc. However, with the exception of a very limited number of games, the mic just decides to quit working (although you can still hear everyone) and sometimes won't come back on at all unless you completely exit and restart the game or other times requiring you to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect the cable. I thought it was just a random occurrence until I read the product reviews and noticed nope, it's not just me. It sucks, I've only had it for a few months and now and I'm already shopping for different one.
I'm just a kid and i got this head set because all my friends had a head set so i wanted one too,i was so suprised!!!! i sound better than all my friends!!! they say i sound the most hearable of everyone out thear i would sooooo tell every one to get thos one it is so nice and fairly cheep to buy.although it kinda pushes on your ear a little bit but too much to not buy it.
Don't buy it.
Bought it for a back up mic and it never would work. I don't know if anyone could hear me but I know I could not hear them. Taking it back asap.
Good beginners mic at a beginners price.
It works great for the prics, although it gets kinda itchy on my ear, but besides that, its awesome.
I got this headset for a starter headset cuz my bday cumin up in a week so ima jus take it back and get some turtle beaches but every thing works out gr8 . gr8 design gr8 sound quality and gr8 mic
I bought 2 of these already, my second one just broke. It breaks VERY easily on the actual headset and the wire twists itself and breaks as well. Also, it goes off sometimes and I have to plug it out and back in.
