Rated 7 out of 10 by QCAK Good sound, bad plastic
I bought these to go along with my white Playstation 4 console, didn't mind paying the extra price for them, heck didn't mind having to wait till they arrived in store so that I could get these things, what annoyed me was just casual use caused one of the headphones to snap, I don't even have a big head.
For the price I paid for these things, ($100) I would have hoped that they would have held up from standard usage. Now they sit around as a show piece until I can get myself a set of PS4 Elite 800s.
Honestly, would not buy these or recommend them to a friend just because of how cheap the plastic is.
Rated 7 out of 10 by MW2ForLife Great design but battery dies fast!
I really do like the design, the looks are great and no boom mic as its built into the earcup. However, I have issues, the battery does not last more than 4 hours max and then you have to charge it! That's a huge problem for me as I play longer than that many times and now I have to turn the speakers for the TV on which is loud. I have turtle beaches for my Xbox and they use batteries which I just switch out as I have a recharger. Also, these are not good for streamers, something about the wireless setup hinders the voice chat from coming through on the stream. I was told just get turtle beaches to fix this. So yah, if the batteries lasted longer than 4 hours and I could just swap out some AA's, then id be happy. Just beware of this.
Rated 7 out of 10 by astrayflame Pricey headset with weak frame.
I like the headset and no one have complain about not being able to hear me yet. The headset is good and the quality is good enough for me at the moment, but the plastic used is cheap. Left piece of the headset snapped off from the hinge where it folds when I was picking it up and I can also see cracks in the plastic from bending when I go to put on the headset.
I also read a review on a different site that the headset snapped in half on a customer who had it for only three weeks from normal usage. The headset would be prefect if it did not use such cheap plastic.
Rated 10 out of 10 by AlikeSeeker9 Good sound, comfortable, but bulky.
The headset is nice and cushioned, it has really good sound, downside is the bulkiness. If it was sleeker it would be nice but I guess the comfort over the ear comes with the bulkiness. It is a really nice headset all in all, like that it doesn't just go with the ps4 or the ps3. You can use it with your cell phones, iPods, psp and computer. So far, no complaints.
Rated 0 out of 10 by MexiChriS Should of been in the bundle to the white PS4!
Seems weak, that this went missing in the bundle pack of the white PS4. Still though, this did not stop me from making a payment to pick this up right along with my; white, PS4 / Destiny bundle edition. Sony's making major money on Sep. 9;cause they got me, but you too should pickup this amazing headset yourself!

I am going to buy this and get a new ps. I like the standard blue a white(Glacier) design. Sony is just reeling all this money in because most people love ps over xbox. Again cant wait.
Rated 6 out of 10 by rempy Good not great
TLDR: Good: Sound quality, good mic, clear chat, rechargable, 100% wireless, only $99. Bad: Hot, voice muffled when chatting, pressure on ears hurts after a while, $99. The Details: I bought this headset last night to prep for Destiny and I'm really mixed on how I feel about it. For reference, I'm basing everything off the Turtle Beach X31 which I've used steadily on 360 for the past 5 years. I cannot say literally one bad thing about the TB so the bar has been set pretty high. Let's just go down the list. Sound Quality: Excellent. The game sound is right up there to what it should be. The mic is inside the ear piece and picks up your voice well and the headset produces a clear chat sound from your party. Unfortunately the ears create a muffled "under water" effect when you talk. This is due to lack of recycling your voice back into your own ears and letting it creep through the ear piece which isn't fully noise cancelling. It's pretty annoying. Chat Quality: Covered already, it's nice and clear. Battery: unknown, they're rechargable and idk how long they'll last. Awesome today, maybe not in 3 years. 100% Wireless: Yes. There are literally zero wires. You can also connect a wire from the headset to your ipod and use em like headphones. Nifty. The Bad: The rubber ears can get kinda hot after a while which is no fun. The cups are shallow so if you wear the headset a little forward, the speakers start to push on your ears and it can get pretty uncomfortable. Ouch. I covered the muffling issue which is the most annoying part of the headset since it takes this awesome realistic sound that makes you feel like you're in the game and then all of a sudden you hear your own muffled voice coming from the background. Finally price. My X31s were $99 so direct comparison I'd say no go. However this was 5 years worth of inflation ago...Overall they're decent and have a big convenience factor but for my money, I think I'd rather dish out a few more bucks for a better model. You won't be upset but you won't be thrilled and since this is a next gen investment, I want to be thrilled.
