The main reason I'm reviewing this is to warn people that this headset has very fragile component. The plastic piece that connects the earphone to the headband will inevitably break. It has happened for me and several friends, usually after about 8 months of use. Aside from that, It works well enough, but the design makes it look cheap, and it is not worth its price. There are higher quality, less expensive brands out there. Do not buy this just because it's popular.

by Dugul Broke in the first two months of purchase
When i bought the headset they seemed very well put together. But on further inspection i saw that the cord was ripping from the control panel which wasn't a very big deal because i was going to reinforce the wire anyways. The problem is is that i have to tilt my head to talk now because the cord is ripping from the actual headset and it is quite annoying. So in general DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK it is terrible.

First off, the p11's are a good headset. I've used turtle beach x11's with an amp, triton ax180s, and astros (250 dollar headset) I'm a true gamer I've gone to competitions for call of duty, and i can honestly say these are some of the most used headsets in competitive gaming. Don't let the money of headsets fool you. sometimes cheaper is better and in this case it serves right. for 60 bucks you get a high quality sound headset, light and durable. People who complain about them breaking are people that when they put the headset on they make it seem as if their head is 10x larger than it is. if you just slide the headset on you will not break these. Again the sound for price is fantastic. its not 7.1 surround sound. but if your a call of duty player as i assume most the people on here are, you do not need 7.1 this headset amplifies everything to perfect sound you know exactly where people are according to their movements... Bottom Line Buy This Headset!!!!! And don't act like you have an elephant head :) happy gaming.

The only reason I didn't give this headset a 9 or 10 is because the wires curl up very easily. It also makes you're ears very sweaty. Other than that it was a pretty good headset it lasted about 7 months for me.

I found myself looking at this head and I needed an alt. since my PX21's are tape/rigged right now. This headset looks cheap feels cheap and is, and I found it a whole lot better than I thought. Compared to the PX21, this headset is way more comfortable(50 mm speakers) and you can wear it for hours. It fits better has a sweet design and does it's job as a stereo headset. However I would like to say this is better than the PX21, it's not. You notice a difference without the expander and the bass is ok, but not as great as the PX21. But the P11 feels more stable than the PX21. This headset does it's job as a stereo headset and comfort, I say if you want a reliable, comfortable stereo headset that is affordable. GET THIS!!! In my opinion, they should put PX21 tech in this headset design or fix the current design. I'm not trying to bring another product up too much, but I know people will compare the P11 to the PX21.

It lasted me 8 months which I thought was awesome. Plus there turtle beaches that looked amazing. Turtle beaches are the best gaming headset company in my opinion, so yeah I will always buy turtle beaches

1st let me say, I don't fall into all the hype of the gaming headset. Anyone that says you can get ANY gaming headset to sound as dynamic or directional as a full speaker, 5.1 surround system simply has not heard a quality surround system, or is simply being bull-headed. I have used Tritton AX pro's, as well as the Sony bluetooth headset. I'm sorry, you can put 10 drivers in each ear, but they are still only an inch apart, and cannot provide a full directional experience. Anyone who says otherwise is fooling themselves. The only excellent feature of the multiple driver headsets is the time delay and sound quality. Having said all that, I can say, I was unbelievably impressed with this headset for $59.99. The mic is excellent, and the fact you can hear your voice in the speakers is incredible at this price, and not even an option on the Trittons. Extremely light, comfortable, and the big 50mm drivers sounded surprisingly clear. You honestly cant go wrong with this headset. It's worth the price just to watch movies on them. Also, the seperate chat and volume controls is nice too, especially at $59.99. Don't hesitate on these, well worth the money, and then some.
Rated 9 out of 10 by SmashBro22 A great and affordable product
I got this headset about a couple of months ago, and I haven't had any problems with it. It is pretty easy to set up, and it sounds great. The only thing i noticed it that when I had the headset plugged into the PS3, and I had my iPod plugged into the PS3, and I had the headphone jack for the headset in my iPod, the headphones made a faint fuzzy/scratchy noise. I unplugged my iPod from the PS3, still listening to music, and the fuzzy noise went away. So, while you are listening to music on your ipod through your headphones connected to your PS3, don't charge your ipod on your PS3. So anyway, it sounds great, and I can hear lots of thing that I could never hear from my TV, so this is a great headset if you are looking for an affordable headset that works for your PS3, computer, and sometimes your iPod.

I bought this headset for myself at college and it's wonderful. I was very skeptical about buying this because I knew nothing about quality headsets. The performance is great. It's nice and loud and you can control the sound on the headset. The only thing about the design I don't like is that you need AV cables hooked up to your PS3 and you plug the red and white cables to the headset plug. The instructions are easy, but it is very cluttered. If they dropped the price down to $50 it would be perfect. I don't understand what all the complaining is about. It is a very nice quality headset for a solid price. It doesn't break if you don't chunk it 30 feet across the room. If you're a person who is going to slam stuff when you loose or get mad then I wouldn't recommend any gaming headsets.

Prior to buying the Ear Force P11 headset, I doubted that a Turtle Beach headset could actually help you become a better gamer. After buying these, I quickly learned they help out a lot! This was my first audio-improving headset I have ever purchased, and I love them. They have incredible audio, a great mic to talk with friends, and a comfortable fit. Although this headset can't compare to more expensive Turtle Beaches or brands such as Astros, this headset is a great deal for it's price. Whether you are a casual gamer looking for a HD audio headset or a hardcore gamer looking to get the edge on another player, I would recommend this amazing headset!
