Get A WAY Better Headset At A Cheaper Price
PUT GUARANTEE ON THE HEADSET IF BOUGHT BECAUSE CORDS AND PARTS ARE NOT SOLD SEPARATELY ON OFFICIAL WEBSITE OR RETAIL STORES, GOOD LUCK. IF YOUR GOING TO SPEND $200 ON A HEADSET FIND A HEADSET WORTH EVERY PENNY. WIRED HEADSETS ARE A NUISANCE AND THIS HEADSET IS OUT OF DATE FOR A 2013 REALEASED HEADSET.If a buyer is willing to spend $200 on a headset, they shouldn't overlook cheaper headset's that are better designed and are better performing., readily available at GameStop. For wired headset this is a huge flop and a deceiving one at that. Since the headset is made with carbon fiber the price is high, that's the difference between this headset and a $80 pair of headsets. The downside to it being light is ironic, if it were wireless the weight would matter allot, but since it has so much cordage that easily snag on nearby objects and tangle with itself very easily (worse if using wired controller, have fun untangling it every 5 minutes) the sheer weight of the cords dis-balances the headsets and becomes a nuisance not mention easily unplugs if snagged. The design is actually bulky looking when worn the ear padding is huge and ironically tear apart easily which makes it look uglier. The mic connection (it's made to be detachable and bends) is fragile and malfunctions very quickly. The gaming volume is relatively way too low for FPS games like Call of Duty and Battlefield though it works great for games like Assassin Creed. The sound detection and distinction is too low and inaccurate, but the noise cancellation is fantastic very good for focusing on the game. It really is a disappointing headset for the price, I have over 300 hours of use with the headset. The headset is really small and uncomfortable to use if user wears glasses. If head size is above small, the mic will not reach the mouth easily.
DO NOT BUY THESE FOR THE WII U
Bought these mainly to be used in Call of Duty game on Wii U. Tried many combinations of cables, jacks, and settings, but unable to make them work with the main amplifier cord. It will work with the phone cord that comes with the headphones if you connect it to the gamepad, but that cord has its own microphone, so the microphone on the headset, which is unpowered, is useless. The headphones work with a PC, but who cares?
if u are looking for a absolute great headset these are the best. I especially like the carbon design. they sound like u are in the game. I would recommend these to everyone.
