While I don't mind the thumbs sticks on my DS4 controller, after about 30 mins. of gaming, my thumbs start slipping off the sticks cause of sweaty hands. I have the Pelican brand grips for my PS3 controllers which include the extended triggers for the L2 and R2 buttons and the grips made a big difference to the thumb sticks and I don't have problems with my thumbs slipping off cause of sweaty hands. So now that I have a PS4 and having the same issue like I did with the PS3 controller thumb sticks, I already knew that I needed some thumb grips for my DS4 controller.
These Geltabz thumb stick grips were the first ones I saw that say they are compatible with the PS4 controller so I decided to give them a try. They go on as easy as the Pelican brand grips in which you turn them inside out, place the inside middle over the thumb stick, and then slide/push down on the outer part of the grip so that it goes over the thumb stick and your done.
After a few multiplayer matches on Killzone Shadow Fall, I must say that my aiming was much improved because of how much more control I had with the grips on the thumb sticks. The grips get's the job done as far as adding more grip to your thumbs and no slippage of your thumbs. Like many others have said though, the only negative thing about them is the price. I think maybe $4.99 is a better price point.

Well, this is amazing to me when my hands are cool and are not sweaty. But when playing intense and my hands get sweaty, the grips might slip. But overall it looks great and keep in mind the xbox one grips work on ps4 i bought them and they worked perfectly.

I tried the rock candy for my ps3 and ps4 controller and they were horrible. kept slipping off had no grip on the sticks at all. these were the best alternative and they outperform the Rock candy brand. Superior control on the ps3 and ps4 sticks that helped improved my control by adding them on the joysticks.

At first I was unsure if this would help with the my thumbs slipping off the PS4 thumbsticks while playing Assassins Creed, UFC, etc. But it does a good job, great grip but took a short time to adjust to. Nonetheless good product.

Theres not much to review here. The gel on the PS4 control thumb sticks is very slippery and it is very weak. Within a month of having my PS4 the rubber broke. I purchased these from GS and I couldn't be any more happy with my purchase. These gel tabs have great gripping performance and they are extremely comfortable and you can just keep playing for hours upon hours with no discomfort at all. Im sure it has a lot to do with the design of the dual shock 4 but the elevated rubber on the gel tabs work really well. To stop this random rant I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this product to anyone. To prevent tear on the rubber of the controls or for performance and comfort. 10/10 excellent I mean theres no reason not to buy these and the price is ALOT better then buying a new control.
Rated 10 out of 10 by GoSeaHox Exactly what I was looking for!
I'm typically used to the Xbox system's controllers. When I played with the PS4 controller, it was fine, until I started playing FPS. I was mashing buttons and hold that L3 button like it was no tomorrow (because of sprint), and I was slipping all over the place. Sooooo.....either 1) my sweat was more due to the hottness of the PS4 (so sexy) or 2) the stick just sucked......reading reviews, I just decided to add a little protection to my investment and bought myself some gel tabs. BAMMMMM! good enough...... Yes, it worked. Worked enough to keep my greasy fingers from sliding all over the place and better than paying a physicist to create a contraption that would adequately keep my manly digits from creating a horrible k/d ratio!! RECOMMENDED!!!!

I bought this accessory because my PS4 controller was caught in the analog rubber epidemic along with others. I was pleased with the product so much I literally made an account to review this. Not only do the Geltabz feel great with the bumpy surface, but they also are a fine piece of eye-candy. The only thing is that it may take a while for you to feel comfortable with them, but when you do, you're in heaven. Also they raise up from the analog a little bit, so it helps just a tad with accuracy in games like Call of Duty or Battlefield.
Rated 9 out of 10 by xTWENTYONEx Highly recommend for both PS4 & XONE!
For PS4: These add to both comfort and accuracy/precision by adding some thickness and larger, grippy surface area to the top of the stick. However, if you play FPS on PS4, then I recommend not using one on the left movement stick, or using a lower profile, firmer grip (Grip iT) for the left or movement stick because its simply hard to click the left stick (L3) with it pushed all the way forward (sprinting in Battlefield or most FPS) since these are a bit too soft and the L3 stick isn't as clicky as, say the XBOX ONE controller, where these grips work best. Just a matter of personal preference but these really are great! I highly recommend using these in combination with SQUIDGRIPS!

A very great addition to an already great controller. Definitly adds some grip to the thumb sticks and saves the thumb sticks material life. Got a PS4, then I suggest pick some up.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Jlat96 Excellent for the low price, with one drawback
I bought these thumb grips because of a small tear on the thumb stick of my dualshock 4. Rather than buying a new controller, this was an excellent alternative. They don't raise the sticks too high and for the most part they don't change the performance of the dualshock 4. However, I have one sizable complaint. When I press in either stick to trigger an action such as sprint or melee in FPS games, the rubber on the edge of the grips rub against the case of the dualshock 4. Not enough to get stuck, but it creates resistance when moving the stick left and right. This is only a problem when moving the stick forward and to the sides when it is pressed in (R3/L3). It took some getting used to, but it's not "game-breaking"
