Call of Duty: MW3 Ear Force Foxtrot Limited Edition Gaming Headset
This is an AMAZING headset. It helps alot on online multiplayer and it has great mic abilities and features. The headset works with the ps3, xbox, and pc so its an all around headset. They are similiar to turtlebeach's PX21 model, however they have a custom mw3 skin and come with multiple "bonuses" that are mw3 related. The headphones are wired, which i actually prefer because they are USB powered and do not require batteries or charging. They have good sound and a nice bass feature. You could just get the PX21's for 20 bucks cheaper, but these feel much more stable (the px21 feels kinda loose) and they have a cool mw3 finish and other redeemable bonuses. I HIGHLY recommend this as it works great with all games, and the surround sound helps you hear enemy locations in all of the popular shooters today. I played it with Battlefield 3, Modern warfare 2, black ops, Halo reach, uncharted 2, and counter strike, and the headphones work perfectly for all of the.
Not being to familiar to the headphone situation I have always been used to the head piece given with my original XBox. My kid decided to pick up gaming so of coarse I lost my headset. I grabbed this set due to the pricing being lower and just in case I wasn't too happy I wouldn't be out much money. Played against a couple of buddies last night and the sound was so good ( didn't help that I had the volume turned up way to loud) that when I got shot it felt as if I was there. Corny, I know, but very true. Once a couple of adjustments were made with volume I can see why people put money into good headphones for gaming. Turn the TV down and just emerse yourself into the game. This is truely the way it should be. Not to sure what to think about the wire drapped across my floor connected to my XBox but I only play at night so no worries about kids walking through. That is the only complaint I would say. Everything else is great and I can honestly say that I have become a true headphone supporter from now on. Thanks GameStop for this great recommendation
Decent, but for the price you can get 7.1 set.
I purchased these thinking initially that they were surround sound, and not just amplified stereo. The sound is great, really, it's on par with my old pair of X31's but for the price I'm rather let down. I love the design and the insignias, however, the battlefield 3 headset is at 99 dollars as well, and supports 7.1 surround sound in them, the cheapest headset that offers surround sound quality for that price, they may not be fancy looking and covered in insignias, but you can't go wrong. It's been featured in PlayStation magazine as of late as well, if you can't find info for it online.
ON a side note, watch out for the sales clerks in game stop, for twenty minutes I watched one smooth talk someone into buying these instead of a pair of X41's hanging up behind the set for 30 dollars more, when the X41's would have at least provided surround sound, despite the annoyance of batteries.
This is a very good/ high quiality headset! A great deal for 100$.
-Easy to breath into the mic.
-Gets pretty hot.
Overall a great headset. This is 100% worth the money!!!
LIke Mass Effect 3, Great with a Horrible End
I got these right around christmas, first pair of turtle beaches finally upgrading from the standard microsoft headset. They started off great. Fantastic sound quality, very comfortable and easily adjustable. I loved the Delta logo on the right side too. but about two months ago (the same time i stopped putting it back in the box just the way it came) i was no longer able to hear through the left ear. I kept using them anyway because i could still hear, but then a few days ago, if my chat volume wasnt high enough, voices sounded robotic and echoey, and then it completely linked chat volume to game volume. just yesterday i could no longer hear my party when i entered a game, and then i couldn't hear anything at all. I pulled the cord out and there is rips and tears everywhere. i barely had it six months! the next time i spend $100 on turtle beaches they're gonna be wireless. this was a big waste of money and if you don't plan on putting it back in the box everytime you use it, i highly recommend a different headset, because believe me, these WILL die on you, and much earlier than you'd expect.
I bought this headset just for playing MW3. I have to say that this is the best headset I have used. The sound is great, you can hear pins on gernades being pulled. Direction that bullets are being fired from. The foxtrot is also a very comfortable, I have worn them for hours on end.
You can not go wrong!!! Hope this helps!!
Ok this is just a turtle beach px21 except it is grey and says mw3 yeah it is cool but what a waste of 20 extra dollars when you can get just the regular px21 for as low as 59.99 now a days i am just saying your paying 20 to 40 extra dollars for a different color and mw3 symbol on the px21. Good for collectors that will go all out but if your not a collector your wasting money just buy regular px21
it works great with my ps3 and xbox.. i have try it with battlefield and MW3 and it has work awesome.. it works for your computer as well.. is 100 dollars but still if u take care of them is worth it. also i try it with netflix on my ps3 and xbox and it sounds amazing.. it has a good bass as well. another thing i like is that i don't bother anyone in the house at night since i have the sound on my hears instead of having bass on the tv. it buy this product because i just got a ps3 and i didn't have any headsets. so a friend recommended to me and yeah
Note so good on mw3
I've used this mic for several games and works great with all those games but a MW3 Turtle beach mic..... It really dosent pick up alot of your voice on MW3. Overall..... BOSS MIC!
Its way better than my x32 and cheaper ! My ratio whent up by 1 because i can hear their footsteeps !
