I have not been this impressed since Madden 06 came out for the Xbox 360, starting a new series of new-gen graphics. The graphics are excellent and much better than they were last year, not to mention PS3 owners now get a taste of 1080p graphics for Madden. Let's go over some of the plusses for this year's Madden 10.
- Graphics are an up. Each player's name on their jersey is bigger now, rather than tiny in the past. Newer camera angles when a player is tackled gives a new ESPN-like show.
- Gang tackles give more of a football reality. Trouble taking down a running back? No problem, call three more of your linebackers to stop him from taking that extra yard.
- Fumble recovery game is fun. Press the asked button repeatedly to fight over the ball a regain control of the football. Fumbles are much more fun now!
- QB pocket presence rumble feature has long been waited. If the pocket is collapsing, the controller will rumble, as a warning to get the ball thrown.
- New halftime show presents alll top replays and stats from the game.
- New QB stats give the QB's more of a realistic accuracy, from short to long passes.
- New online franchise.
-New co-op online. Play WITH a friend on one team to defeat the CPU's team.
With every game there are flaws. Ofcourse every game has flaws. However, Madden 10 lacks on what you can do in the game. Here are some cons:
- There are only 2 (yes count them 2) options for game mode: Franchise and Career.
- Career is boring and dull. It appears that EA spent no time on this area. You can practice with your player or play a game, that is it, nothing else to do.
- Franchise is the same.
- Some stats for players are way off. You have to manually change them yourself to get them right.
- Madden moments are just not the same as the ESPN 2k5 ones. They are very challenging, but pointless. They use current rosters instead of last year's roster (Jay Cutler was not on the Bears last year, why should he be in last years Madden moment?).
Overall Madden 10 is an impressing game, albeit there is limited options for what you can do in the game. Practically you either play Franchise or Online, and that's it. I would recommend this game.

I have been a fan of the MLB series and have been getting it since MLB 2005. I was quite excited this year, particually since my Philadelphia Phillies won it all last year. New features such as custom walk up music, pitching enterance, custom chants, and batting practice on road to the show. There is a long list of newer small things within the game, like proper arm angles during pitches, and outfielders rounding around to come up with a ground ball. However, a good majority of these new features contradict themselves into errors.
1. It is nice to have custom music for each player to come up to bat. But, for some reason the song will only be played maybe 2 out of 4-5 at bats during a game. A generic song will be played, or no song will be played during the other times.
2. Just the thought of custom chants is awesome. However, there is a problem with recording it. I have to scream in my blutooth headpiece just to hear the chant slightly. It does not record properly, and many others have had the same problems.
3. Having the 40 man rosters is another "up" for a new baseball game. But, the creators for some reason put all players on the same roster. So if you want to look at your pitchers, you will have to look at every pitcher you have from MLB-AA. It is annoying and confusing since you dont know who is on your MLB roster. All 75 man players are put onto one roster screen, annoying.
4. The road to the show still needs work. It is impossible to play as a closing pitcher. You may pitch once to twice a week, but you have 2 weeks to increase your stats. The goals make you fail, and its not your fault. (Also as a side note: the phillies AAA team is the Lehigh Valley IronPigs, but if you look at the scoreboard in the outfield, its initials are OTT. Ottawa is no longer the AAA for the past 2 years, I hope this will get fixed since this has been going on for two years.)
5. The creators wanted to make a realistic game, and they did. However, they went a little too far. It is very difficult to hit off of a pitcher, and it is hard to pitch to a batter. Even if you have it on rookie level, and the sliders for the cpu is down, they will still hit homeruns on a high inside fastball. Im not complaining too much, but i hope this is fixed for next year.
I could go on and on about this game, but dont get me wrong, i love this game. THIS IS THE BEST BASEBALL GAME OUT THIS YEAR!!! I just want to make people aware of the minor things that need to be fixed in the the future.

When I heard the next cod was coming out, i was so excited. A little disappointed that it would be world war 2 setting, but it shouldn't be that bad right? Well it is bad. If you were a hardcore cod fan, i guess you would like this game. If you liked cod4, you will hate this game. First off, the campaign is fun, but make no sense. You play as an american, then the red army, then u.s., then red army, and back and forth and back and forth. PICK A SIDE, come on! The achievements for the campaign are dumb too, like shooting a general in the head with a pistol that is a 1,000 feet away. Online also got ruined. You start off with crappy weapons and dont get any good ones til level 45-50. I bought the collectors edition to get the fg45 gun, and i just wasted my money, because the gun runs out of bullets in .075 seconds, then you die. The maps are tooooo big and glitched, people can hide "underground" and kill you but you cant see them. And you need to shoot 4 to 5 rounds of bullets to killl1 person. The guns stink , slow, old, and boring. I am going to trade in this game like the rest of people. it tooo FUSTRATING.
PS; there was an overload of used games at gamestop of this title, just goes to prove that this game is not great if people are quickly trading it in.

I played the demo for the first game, and i kept dying instantly and was confusing, so i never bought the game. I took a risk buying this game, and it was the best investment on a game i made all year (besides mlb 08 the show). I played Halo 3 on Xbox 360, and i thought it was the nerdiest, boring game ever. This game is just flat out amazing. The graphics are intense, and the blood and gore amount is realistic. Having 60 player online matches make online play a warfare state. It just fun mad kaos. The storyline is also fun and entertaining. If you get bored with the single player, play co op with up to 8 people. Its just impossible to put this game down, i even stopped playing call of duty 4 to play this. everything is really awesome.
One minor con though- when you kill one of the monsters, you cant react with them. If you beat them with you gun or shoot them, they wont move, they are brick solid. I wish they would adopt something like gears of war has.

I got this game thinking it would be a fun simulation for my future, since i plan to go to college for sports management and become a GM or some front office. This game just made me cry because it is so horrible. Lets start off with stats. There is a rating between 80 and 20. Thats dumb, i think 80 is just an average player. Ryan Howard started with a 75 rating, but the next season he just randomly dropped to a 50. A 50!!!!!!!!?! The menus are confusing and a lot of them dont allow you to do what you want to do. If you want to send down a player to AAA and bring up a player from AAA to MLB, well you cant do that because thers only one move at a time. So you have to send your player to short season, call up to mlb, then call up to AAA. Confusing? Yes. Also, completing trades is next to impossible. Usually in a game there is a Interest bar to tell you how interested the team is in your trade. Well there is none of that. You have to play the guessing game, and then wait 2 days to be rejected by the team. you have no clue what they want in return. Also signing free agents are rigged. I could not sign Scott Eyre because he wanted a $2 million bonus for a Cy young award and alll star award. He is a reliever, and never will be an all star or a cy young. Come on developers. The AI is not smart like they said, its FUSTRATING!!!
Also you are not alowed to play the actual games, obviously. I could care less about playing them.
If you are a baseball fan, stay away, this game might be good by 2014 if they make a game every year.
PS; on the back of the case it says the game has trophies, its a lie. This game does not contain any trophies.

I have been a scene it fan for a long time. last year i was very excited to get the first game. the first game was very good, but it would have been better if it had online play. so when i heard the Box Office Smash would have xbox live online play, I was very pleased. I was even more happy that the price was at an affordable $40. But this was the most wasted $40 ever. This game is a MAJOR letdown. From the 1st game I loved the HD version of movie clips; this games HD clips are absolutely HORRIBLE. I checked my Tv and it was fine, but the picture quality was not HD for movie clips. It looks about the quality of a VHS (yes I'm serious, VHS). The rest of the games graphics are fine, but the HD movie clips should be shunned.
This game lacks the fun background from the first game. You just fly around in a sofa all day. Boring. Instead of flying around a movie studio, your flying around a haunted mansion, the desert, and some all version of a movie theater. The questions themselves are really dumb, and you start seeing the same questions and movie clips over and over. The is a part where you see an 8bit picture and you have to guess which movie it is. i have seen the"300" movie version of that 4 times in 10 games played. Horrible set up. And its not that fun.
Lastly, the awaited online play. Let me tell you straight up, its rigged. If you are winning the whole game, you will lose in the end. Between the rounds, players get bonus points. Usually the crappy players get the most bonus points for the dumbest things and go from last place to first place without doing anything. i have played 15 games online and STILL have not won a game. And all the scores are over the 100,000 mark.
Overall, keep the original game, I traded this one in as soon as possible.
For those christmas shopping, DO NOT buy this for your family. Buy Scene It? Lights Camera Action.
