Still playing after all these years
By: saint4God    Date: Sunday, Nov 01, 2009
I'm surprised and impressed that after four years, I'm still logging in nearly every day. Even at level 80, there's plenty to do. Dungeons to explore, battlegrounds to win, quests to complete, items to get. The graphics update some patches ago really brought the game up to speed for modern rendering. What I think I enjoy most however, is to be able to help out and team up with players in getting their experience as well as crafting items with now worthwhile (it was updated) tradeskills. It's still A list, haven't played anything like it despite having tried so many.

best expansion ever
By: A Customer    Date: Tuesday, Apr 28, 2009
well in all a brand new continent to explore, 10 more levels to work through, a new class that starts at a higher level to avoid the months of endless questing, more dungeons and gear, new mounts, and a new achievement system. so its a great expansion in a nutshell but it still has that world of warcraft feel but you wont regret it.

I love it
By: World of Warcraft    Date: Wednesday, Apr 15, 2009
its pretty fun doing quests and playing with friends. Its really challenging to lvl up when you are lvl 40 or above but when you can ride mounts it gets alot faster then walking to caverns, towns, and trying to get to a quest area... I wouldint tell you that you should play this game if you dont like challenging games because i bet you would get angry if you keep losing at a quest or something but if you really want to try it out it will mostly be challenging.

P.S. sorry i messed up on the first on :P

WOTLK
By: martialarts1    Date: Monday, Mar 09, 2009
It is a good expansion to World of Warcraft. I've been playing for 3 years and its a fun game. I was eager to see what they were to add in this one and to see what being a death knight was like. I also like the fact that they added mounts that can carry more that one person. Also I noticed that leveling was alot easier than in BC. I am definetly inpressed and I can't wait until the Lich King Raid comes out.

its a cool game

i like it and how it never ends is really cool.

WoW Haters be Gone Please
By: *WoWhaters LOL    Date: Tuesday, Dec 02, 2008
It is always entertaining for me to read some of the bad reviews on WOTLK. This expansion pack has a lot more to do and definitely it is not boring. The game really doesn't start till you hit 80 and do pvp and raiding. I have been playing this game for 4 years straight and I can honestly say it has never been boring. I couldn't see myself still doing kara, za or BT over and over again. I definitely could not see still doing stuff pre BC. I really wish the people that cry about this game would just leave and go play WarHammer or something. If you like WoW and BC you will love this expansion pack. Those that like to hate on WoW. The solution is simple just stop playing and make it a better gaming enviroment for those that still enjoy it.

Will Wait
By: A Customer    Date: Saturday, Nov 29, 2008
I think the expansion will be good but I think its overpriced. I will wait until it gets cheaper just because I already pay a monthly fee and don't see paying a premium price for an expansion.

this game kicks...
By: *dfhu52    Date: Thursday, Nov 20, 2008
This expansion is so much fun to play. If u liked the first wow than u will love this. Let's u go to lvl 80has new places and instances that r awsome and is really worth your money if you like these kind of games. Yes you do have to pay ** dollars a month but if you have the money then it is well worth it. I usualy play shoters like gears of war and call of duty but even though I have gears if war 2 I play a lot more than gears. I think that it is a very fun game that is long so it takes awhile to beat such is good but it is still fun the end when you get to lvl80 because of pvp and dunguens that you can and pvp very gets old if you r good at it. so overall I think that it is a great game that is tons of fun to play but is very long and can get addicting. So I think that you should buy this game if you have the Money and time to play it or it is not worth the ** bucks a month that is required to play the game. It is a great game and i suggest that you buy it.

world of war craft

Trust me..IT COULD NOT BE BETTER!
By: *Tonelow    Date: Monday, Nov 17, 2008
As far as the MMO experience goes, this game tops all. Why does it? Because there are TONS of people playing it. Sometimes they can be annoying but you will never go long without human interaction which is what its all about. The graphics are OUTSTANDING for an MMO; not everyone has an alien ware. With that said you have to make a game that looks good and doesn't crash when 10 players are standing next to each other. They have made this game playable with TONS of people around and it still looks great. If you never liked WoW dont buy it...if you did you are in for a real treat as this game will keep you busy for months! (assuming you like me have a job and a life that prevents you from spending your whole life logged on)!

I LOVED IT ALL
By: Colganna    Date: Monday, Nov 17, 2008
Its very fun because the storyline is great, i dont think illl ever get bored of it cause i just love it all. i think the death knight shouldnt be so srong though cause he totally Owns. later!

Must-buy if you play WoW
By: Turalyon Horde    Date: Sunday, Nov 16, 2008
This game is mostly just more of the same, with a few new features that keeps it exciting and fun to play. With a new class, level cap raised to 80, and an entire new continent to explore, this game is a must-buy if you play WoW. I have been spending almost every moment of my free time playing and trying to level my character. The quests have been fun and the story line is great. Starting a death knight starts an excellent story line and tons of fun, as you get so many talent points rather quickly. Bottom line, you need to get this game if you play WoW.

WoW is right
By: pwnzorz    Date: Saturday, Nov 15, 2008
WoW is in fact, WOW. This expansion is awesom but the story behind it was very very short, about 10 hours. Thing i did not like about this is the fact you cant keep your main character name you cant just change classes, you have to make a different character for every class unlike FFXI where you can have 19 different jobs a main and a support up to 75 so 75NIN / 37WAR is an example. But WoW is cool and this is worth it, thats my only complaint.

An awesome game just keeps getting better!!
By: Dandra    Date: Tuesday, Nov 11, 2008
I have been playing WoW for about 1 1/2 years now and have to admit that I am an addict. Many out there can relate to that. I started after the BC expansion, so I am not sure how it was before that, but I do know that it has only gotten better since I have been playing. I have had my pre-order in for the Wotlk expansion for a while now and I am eagerly checking my mailbox every day in hopes of an early arrival. From what I have read so far, I think this expansion will simply be awesome! I have 2 toons at 70 so far and a few more lower level ones I am working on as well. Even at 70 I find many fun and exciting things to do every day that I play and now with the level cap being raised to 80 I will be even busier than before. As an older person (I am 45) I think it is great to be able to sit at home and relax and play the game with people from all over the world, and of all ages, all working together to have a good time! I know this will continue with this expansion and as the game grows even more. I for one want to thank Blizzard for giving me an escape from the pressures of everyday life by creating such an enjoyable game!! This Alliance Warlock says: "See ya in Northrend!"

Its gonna be great!
By: A Customer    Date: Tuesday, Nov 11, 2008
I have played WOW since 2005 Pre-Burning Crusade and i bought TBC on release date and the game has always delivered so i think this one is going to be awesome also i have played 2 other MMOs Warhammer online and Lord of the Rings online and they don't even touch WOW it is one of the greatest games i have ever played and i will enjoy it a lot. Many people think WOW has changed since pre-BC and i agree before BC i strived to be level 60 and now i strive to be level 70 and on Thursday level 80 and hopefully i can get there before the next expansion. I just think its gonna be awesome so have fun raiding everybody.

It Will Be The Best Game known To Man
By: wowman123    Date: Tuesday, Nov 11, 2008
I could go on and on about this game, but when it comes out i'll assure you this: it will kill WAR and AOC and any other game out right now. Some of the basics: Northrend which is much bigger then ouland. It has 10 places to go to. Level cap to 80. Death Knight Creation, New armor, new dungeons, battle Arthas. New armor (for low level people to) and much more quests and lots more. I can't wait. It will be an 11/10 star game.

THE BEST GAME EVER
By: Locan    Date: Tuesday, Nov 11, 2008
I have been playing WoW for about 11 months. I have always been horde at it will stay like that through out WOTLK. This is the biggest expansion ever with a new hero class, new mounts (of flying and non-flying) and a new continent and don't forget leveling to 80.

This wont upset you!
By: A Customer    Date: Tuesday, Nov 11, 2008
I had my account frozen for about a year now. I was bored one day and happened to go on worldofwarcraft.com (offical website) and look at the updates for WotLK, I was really shocked when I saw what changes were coming such as: World PvP- you can use vehicles and shoot down walls and other players. Death Knight- First hero class ever in WoW. This will be a great add-on for WoW. It could be speced as either dps OR a tank. Once I first heard this is Unfroze my account and started to get my character to 55 (what level you have to be to make a DK). This game IS and WILL be the best game ever made with over 11 million players!

Best Game Ever
By: RyanA    Date: Thursday, Nov 06, 2008
From what I've read in Blizzard's Blue (Official) posts and seen from videos, pictures, forums, etc. this will be positively the best improvement to the absolute BEST online game ever created. No game will compare to WoW after this expansion releases. My only concern is that because Blizzard keeps raising the level cap, fewer players will want to join and spend so much time leveling. From personal experience, it took 6 months to get my first character to 70. To outsiders, this may seem like a lot of time and effort; however, the time devoted to playing this game has profited me knew knowledge of universal game mechanics, understanding of group collaboration and not to mention some of the closest friends I've ever met, in-game and out. I hope everyone is as excited about this expansion as I am.

The Complainers
By: Kevil    Date: Thursday, Nov 06, 2008
So I've been playing since the day beta came out. From the insane 40 man raids to the now 25 and soon to come 10 and 5 end game raids I love all of WoW. Ya, I've had my share of the complainers, whiners, and those who think one class is better then others. I don't pay much attention to them because all I say is "If you hate it so much why play?" LOL they always shut up. WOTLK is going to be one of the best expansions and nonetheless most awaited expansions to hit the WoW bundle. With great new gear, abilities, quest, and skills you can't ask for a better expansion... so all those nay people out there I say "Don't play the game then" And to those who embrace the ever expanding game. WoW for life, WoW for fun, and WoW for destruction.

This will be huge
By: A Customer    Date: Wednesday, Nov 05, 2008
Blizzard recently announced that subscriptions to World of Warcraft have passed 11,000,000 and that number is still rising, making World of Warcraft the most popular online game ever created. The previous (and first) expansion, The Burning Crusade was the fastest selling game in history selling 2.4 million copies in 1 day and Wrath of the Lich King is expected to sell that well if not better. Every definition of "epic" applies here. Level to 80, explore a whole new continent, new abilities, spells, professions, dungeons, enemies, friends and expanded Player vs. Player battlegrounds and updated graphics. If you aren't yet a WoW junkie, now is a good time to find out why so many other people are. This will be huge.

The Growth of a Giant
By: Tektonic    Date: Wednesday, Nov 05, 2008
There are going to be mixed (pre)reviews here. Naturally, there are two sides to the WoW coin. There are the purists who miss the old days when things used to be "better" and there are the futurists who embrace the ever-changing world of an MMORPG. Having played since the original beta all the way up to the WOTLK beta, I can assure most of the nay-sayers that if you aren't into it anymore, you've probably lost some of the flair that you used to have in the beginning. WoW is not for everyone (even though the population is peaking the 10 million player mark). With the wide demographic that plays, you will undoubtedly find people that hinder the enjoyment of the game as a whole. Content wise, Blizzard is making up for the shortcomings of the Burning Crusade expansion by miles. The general WoW population complains heavily about unbalanced character classes and the streamlined ease for unskilled players to get high end gear. There is nothing wrong with making a game accessible to everyone. Gone are the days of the "hardcore" games and the few that surface rarely achieve critical praise with the media, therefore get lost in the endless shuffle of bargain bin games. Before you blow your top about how much WoW has gone downhill, give the new x-pac a chance to shine. Nobody forces you to play, but all the heavy complainers will still continue to level their characters as they moan and groan all the way to level 80. Turn off the general and trade chat channels and enjoy the new and improved World of Warcraft. I'll see you in Northrend.

10 month player
By: Bloodsire    Date: Tuesday, Nov 04, 2008
I have been playing for about 10 months and totally enjoy the game. Like all groups some are total jerks; most are great. I have one toon above 55 so I get 1 DK on a PvP server. For the older sector, I'm retired, you can have fun too. When you group you have no idea who you are with. No one knows that I'm 60 when they group with me or help me. I can't wait for the new release, see you in Northrend.

WOTLK:Rise of the Casual Guild
By: ChivalryGM    Date: Tuesday, Nov 04, 2008
The best thing about "WOTLK," IMHO, is that is will be the rise of the casual guild. I have been playing for over 4 years. I am also the GM of a casual guild on Eonar. In the past there was so much content that was just not available to those who could not commit to raid 5 nights a week. My guild worked hard to get to Kara and ZA. In "WOTLK" a new door is opened. Once instances are unlocked by a 25 man raid they may be run in either 25 or 10 man some even in 5 man. Gone are the days when ONLY end game raiding guilds see end-game content. Now it is within reach of the casual player, and about time. Achievements are a blast. If you have been away from the game for a few, come on back. The water is just fine!

Stupid people writing stupid reviews
By: Oaklol    Date: Friday, Oct 31, 2008
I would like to point out that many of the people writing these "reviews" (which is funny because they haven't played the expansion yet or the original game at all) have no idea what they are talking about. Someone said you have to have a lvl 70 to make a Death Knight... WRONG... someone also said you have to have an arena rating to get the low end pvp blues... WRONG... clearly none of you play beta so please L2 write a review with correct information. Someone also said getting to lvl 70 is the end of the game? ROFL I'm sorry man, but that's the beginning of the game. Gear up, raid, do arenas, get achievements. You can't even do most of the stuff in the game until you are at the level cap (which will now be 80). It's a never-ending game (which if you don't like that, I can understand but you can't tell me it's boring). No matter how far you get, you're never done, there's still something else you've yet to accomplish, but that's whats great... there's no single goal. Do what you want and what's fun for you and don't worry about the rest. My advice is.... go read mmo-champion and learn about the changes and new features for yourself from a creditable source. Don't listen to these morons. You'll get to fight the Lich King... what else needs to be said?
