So far all I can say is that this looks completely AMAZING (see what I did there?). The overall premise is to deliver the ultimate spidey experience and return to the open world New York City exploration. This may be a licenced title, but givin Spider-man's track record, this could rock. The story is not quite known yet, but it is an epilogue to the movie, so the writers have creative freedom. The story should showcase some classic villains (already including Rhino and Iguana) while giving their origins and an interesting, realistic spin. As far as gameplay goes, the ante has been upped. The combat supposedly takes notes from Arkham City (surprise, surprise) with freeflow combat. However the spin is that it will utilize Spidey's agility and acrobatics. Trailers showcase some outstanding moves and finishers. There will als be a new feature entitled web rush. By holding down a button, you will be givin several acrobatic options. When you let go, you will go through a cinematic parkour- inspired sequence. This can range from an attack of some sort, to a quick way to go from a building to the roof of a car in style. There will also be a evolutionary, redisigned camera system that will change web swinging. The camera closes in on spidey so you can see the enviornment and Spidey's stylish moves, but will follow him and thrust as he does. This will give players the sense of power, agility, and vertigo of swinging through manhattan.Apparently you can go inside enviornments (hopefully including Peter's home(i like easter eggs!!), but it has not been confirmed if you can enter these freely, or during missions. I PRAY there are costumes like in Shattered Dimensions and Edge of Time. I would like to see Peter Parker skins, and a symbiote skin. Combined with outstanding graphics (especially on Spidey's suit, which looks AWESOME) and next-gen equipment, the gameplay looks intense. Beside the in-game content, the development process looks good. This is developed by Beenox, who worked on Shattered Dimensions, and Edge of Time. Shattered Dimensions rocked, but Edge of Time sucked. On the bright side this allows the team to know the ups and downs to making a good Spider-man game. Plus it helps that Beenox has been working on this game since Shattered Dimensions. Overall I am optimistic, as a Spidey fan, and as an open-world action fan. F.U.N.

by AMZSpidey This Game WILL DELIVER
First off: Edge of Time was nowhere near as bad as some people made it out to be..gameplay may not have been the best, but it had epic music, epic voice acting, epic dialogue, and an epic story..
Second: Not every super hero game developer needs to look to the BatMan Arkham games by RockSteady in order to know how to make a good game. How many decent/good Batman games since the year 2000 have been made compared to how many decent/good/great Spidey games have been made since 2000? Just 2. Spidey has had multiple games from multiple developers that have been pretty good. Sure the quality may not have always been consistent, but at least they were all good for the most part.
Third: Beenox UNDERSTANDS Spidey..and they understand his fans. They have been working on this game for over 2-3 years....BEFORE they even started working on Shattered Dimensions. They said they are looking at some of the fan-favorite games such as the Spidey games for PS1, SM2 The Movie Game, USM, and Web of Shadows for inspiration.
No doubt that this Spidey game will give Batman a run for his money and show that Spidey is the true master of the super hero video game genre

by Avery97 Fantastic Game!
I personally love this game, and have been hooked on it ever since I got it for Christmas! It is a fun and challenging game that contains great graphics and fun free roam. The story of this game takes place right after the movie "The Amazing Spiderman", and will probably start the next movie. Also, the characters voices are done very well. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to feel like Spiderman swinging around Manhattan.

Rated 10 out of 10 by TheMatrix19 This is a true Spider man game for hardcore fans
I got my copy of this game on the first day of release and it is so fun. The graphics are amazing (Pun intended) and everything looks detailed. The overall control of Spider man works perfectly you really feel like your in the suit and swinging around New York. Now I'm only on the third chapter and I've only beaten two bosses (Giant robot and Rhino). Those bosses for some reason were way too easy. The robot boss required a little more work to beat because of all the weak spots you had to hit but Rhino was way too easy it literally takes three hits to beat him. Anyway its a good game and the best Spider man game I've ever played and I've played a lot of them but this game is different Beenox stayed true to the Spider man Movies, Games and Comics and crafted the best Spider man game in the world. Spider man rules and so does Beenox so thank you Stan Lee for creating Spider man and thank you Beenox for allowing me to relive my inner web slinger in the best way possible. Thanks Again

I'm extremely excited for this game. From what i've seen for it (videos, screenshots, etc) I'm very impressed. But, the game is also by Beenox and every time they make a Spiderman game it turns out good so why should this be an exception. I like how they are using the Batman Arkham City combat in the game but made it smoother because Spiderman has a more elegant fighting style. In the combat you can also counter like you do in Batman and attack afterwards. Another item they added to the combat are stealth takedowns. They used this in Spiderman Shattered Dimensions, when you play as Noir Spiderman, as well as Batman so it will be a nice touch I'm guessing for the gameplay. The story line is also taking place before the movie happens so there won't be any spoilers according to Game Informer. They also introduced two villains Rhino and Iguana as two bosses in the game. They also showed a giant robot in the original trailer for the game but, i don't know what thats supposed to be. Overall I have high hopes for this game and if you agree give me a thumbs up!!

This is the Spider-Man game I have been waiting for since the Spider-Man 2 game which released in 2004. Spider-Man 3 the game was a dissapointment and then Beenox released their other decent Spidey games. And now they have released the greatest Spidey game of our time, thats right, I said it. This game is fun from beginning to end. Though it is short and the Platinum trophy is pretty easy, there are 700+ collectables, so your work is cut out for you. Even though there are spoilers in the game about the film, it should not take away from the overall experience. Five years from now, who will even care? You have to judge a game from an overall standpoint, not what you feel at a certain moment of time. The game does get repetitive and after you are done with everything, there is pretty much nothing to and that is my only problem with this game. If you are a Spider-Man fan, pick this game up. You won't be disappointed.

I could beat the original Spider-Man movie tie-in game when I was just one year old. Spider-Man was always my hero, and the best game ever produced in the franchise would have to be the second, which I have clear memories of playing on my Xbox. I know this is going to be an epic game because the graphics are awesome, there's free-roaming, and it looks a whole lot better than the original version from about ten years ago, and I'm just telling this by watching two spectacular trailers. One thing that puts me down is the fact that this takes place AFTER the movie, not during, which means we don't get to experience Peter when he first gets his powers unlike the original. Plus, it gives no point to get this when looking at it as a franchise game if it has almost nothing to do with the movie it's siding along. Otherwise, this looks like a fun, easy yet long game that people who still have Spidey loyalty will love and enjoy.

Ive played all the spider-man games from the first spider-man on the playstation 2 to shattered dimensions on the playstation 3. I never bought edge of time because i heard bad reviews about it and i didn't want to waste my money on something i wouldn't like. Im a big spider-man fan and i hope that this game will not let me down (which is looks like it wont). My favorite spider-man game would have to be web of shadows because of free roam and the choice to go from bad spidey to good spidey and the quick change of suits in just 1 button! The last 2 recent spider-man games have lacked free roam. But this one looks like it could own. I have pre-ordered this game and hopefully this game will keep me busy for months. The only disadvantage is the wait for the game to come out! I do not have much patience so i'll be suffering until then haha. I hope there's other villians like venom and doctor octo. But i dont see how. But the game isnt really based on the movie. I really hope theres the venom spidey suit in this game because that is my favorite suit. SO DONT FAIL ME SPIDEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
