The classic exchange of wits in the epic rivalry between Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck transcends time. Now, they’re bringing their antagonistic relationship from the big screen to the Nintendo GameCube in Looney Tunes: Back in Action. The lively, single-player platform game is based on the upcoming Warner Bros. action movie of the same title. The game offers dynamic gameplay and vibrant, rich Looney Tunes visuals that will attract and entertain fans of all ages.
Longtime rivals Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck are united under a common goal: finding the mysterious Blue Monkey Diamond. Players will swap between Bugs and Daffy, using each character’s own set of special skills, as they embark on an adventure around the world. They race into action from level to level to put an end to the sinister plans of the evil ACME Corporation in an effort to save the Earth.
The game includes five diversely themed environments, all inspired by the film’s wild locations. Players will roam far and wide in their quest for the Blue Monkey Diamond, including a trip to uncover the alien mysteries of Area 52, a visit to a Hollywood back lot, and a descent into the depths of the jungles of Africa as they run, jump, slide and bounce their way through an unbelievable adventure.
Along the way, gamers will collect Munnies and bag Munkeys, as well as utilize each character’s unique skills, in order to outwit the all-star cast of Looney Tunes favorites and continue their scavenger hunt for the lost Blue Monkey Diamond.
* Unique Two Toon Play: Players can control both Bugs and Daffy, swapping between them during the game.
* Individual Toon Skills: Each character has his own unique set of skills to help out along the way. Among other abilities, Bugs can tunnel under ground to reach new areas and change costumes to manipulate his way out of trouble. Daffy can survive the perils of being squashed, wrestling Crusher, or even eaten whole.
* A Giant Toon World: Explore five unique environments inspired by scenes from the movie. Visit a Hollywood back lot, uncover the alien mysteries of the Restricted Area 52, explore the deep, dark jungles of Africa and much more.
* Challenging Mini-Games: Go head-to-head against the Boss Toons including Elmer Fudd, Wile E. Coyote and Marvin The Martian in a host of challenging mini-games.
* All Your Favorite Looney Tunes Characters: Interact with a variety of familiar Looney Tunes favorites, including Sylvester, Tweety, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn, Michigan J. Frog, the Tasmanian Devil, Speedy Gonzales, Pepe Le Pew, Road Runner and many more.
* Wacky ACME Crates: Crates scattered throughout the levels contain surprises that help Bugs and Daffy overcome obstacles and defeat the bad guys. Be sure to watch out for the ACME trick boxes!
