Even with the Master Chief back in action, the situation looks dire - and this is at the beginning of the game, before things get a lot worse. In true Bungie tradition, the solo campaign in Halo 2 deepens and expands upon the story that began in the first game: old questions will be answered, new mysteries will unfold, and the truly epic nature of the story will finally be revealed. Multiplayer is an entirely different kettle of fish. Halo 2 is designed from the ground up to support internet multiplayer games over Xbox Live. You're no longer limited to playing LAN games against friends who live nearby. What's more, the multiplayer experience is being completely redesigned.

| Halo has cemented itself in the forefront of one of the best first person shooter series of all time. Great graphics and arguably the best analog controls in any first person shooter. | I have owned Halo 2 for about 5 months and I have already beaten it. I was impressed with the graphics which are way better then the graphics in Halo Combat Evolved. The controls are awesome and they seem to flow in a rhythm. The only problem with Halo 2 is that it is so short. You can literally beat it in a few days if you want to. | Ok... I know a story line is needed in most video games but why are you guys complaining about story line... first you don't buy halo to play the story mode. ( If you have XBL ) You buy it to play matchmaking and custom games online with friends.
