THE ARMIES OF THE EMPIRE ARE AT YOUR COMMAND! Conquer the 25 regions of Ancient China and build an Empire using cunning diplomacy and uncompromising force! Before each battle, meet with the war council to decide military and political policies; then it's time for war. Now issue direct orders to each officer or signal general commands to officers on the field. Choose the officers for your attack force, entice captives into joining your service, even expel offi cers from the kingdom.
There's even greater authority over Government, Product Development, Diplomacy and Battle Tactics with 25 new policies for a total of 75 in all!

| This game sucks! I played dynasty warriors 4 and it was good. So i had enough money and decided to get this game. Worst mistake of my life! It is the same exact thing. The only difference is the whole strategy thing. That's the only good thing about this game. And even that sucks. | I remember buying this when it first came out. Fantastic game. The controls are the same ol' dynasty warriors controls which is good IMO. The addition of running your own country is awesome! By adding this feature they really extended the game's re-playability! You can create your own characters. They don't have THAT many different parts to use but it's sufficient. Why make another installment when all you are doing is slapping on the number five onto an already done title? And believe me there’s no change to Dynasty Warriors 5 from four or even three for that matter.
