Rated 2 out of 10 by rosetta THE GAME WAS NOT FUN AT ALL.
I got the game after seeing it on the tv and when i took it home after 10 min it was not like they said it was ,you cant have kids first of all and that was like half the fun of the game you can only create one person per acount they cant die they all ways have to yoos the bathroom and when you talk to people all they want to do is sleep you cant woohoo like they said you can on the tv andwhen they work all you can do is sit around and wait if you get married it is only worse because now you have to people that need to sleep eat and yoos the bath room all the time you get your stuff taken when you do not pay your bills the only fun thing in the whole game is you get to build houses and you need moeny to do that so my advice is that you buy the x box or the wii or the pc ones instead so dont make your kid sad by buying this game and if they say they like this game it is because they do not want to hurt your feelings.

The Sims 3 for the DS is not AT ALL what you'd expect from the discription. It;s still fun, but the graphics are not the best. Like a lot of games, Sims on the DS has it's pros and cons: On the Pros side, you CAN make your sims look nice and not like "possesed monkeys", it does have a lot of customization features, and your sim does not get hungry or has to use the restroom that often. On the cons side, the graphics are bad and there is not that much to do besides visit the town and get a job. You can't even grow up or have kids (hence the E for everyone rating) . You can still get married which is fun, though! Anyway, all I'm saying is that it's not nearly as good as the Wii or PC/ MAC version and is for gamers like me who don't really care about the things you can't do. :) I <3 Simz!!
Rated 6 out of 10 by GamerGirlAmanda1 Not *Bad*, but not the best. But very fun.
I've heard wonderful things of the Sims, and i got this game with high expectations. It was fun...For a while. Your sims can't have children, which I was very dissapointed to find out. The sims can't die, either. Once the sim gets a job, and you don't have a housemate, you kinda have to wait around for a while untiil the sim gets off work. The graphics are very strange. For example, My sim was playing a video game on her TV, and instead of sitting on the floor as I had planned, she went and sat _INSIDE_ a table. The sims have very little diolauge and it getts boring and repetitive after awhile. BUT: it is fun, as DS games go, and I do reccomend it...But buy it used, or borrow it from a friend first. (WARNING: It sometimes will freeze your DSi. If it happens, let it die.)

This game is fun for all ages. Create your very own sim. Choose from cool features such as many different unique hair styles, eye color, clothes, accsesseries, and more. Choose traits your sim will follow to describe their personality. Explore through Beacon bay with amazing sites such as a lighthouse, a beautiful beach, a town square, and much more! Discover new traits by meeting new people. Get a job at the country fried counter diner, the science center, the corporate towers to become a business person and much more. My only complaints is that the sound is low, too low you can barely hear. The other thing is the town/ place is too small. I would still highly recommend this game for the other sim fans out there PLAY WITH LIFE.
Rated 6 out of 10 by glendap10 Not as good as i thought
When i first got the sims for my dsi i was excited because i had first played it for pc and i thought it was really good, but when i got the game i was disappointed. The game wasn't nearly as good as the pc version. In the game you could only have one person in the household and he/she had to be an adult. You cant customize your sim as much as you can in pc (Ex. cant change tips or give highlights to your sims hair). You cant have children in the game either. Another thing is you have to interact with the same people in the town over and over again witch can get really boring. If your looking for a sims game where you will never get bored you should stick to pc.
Rated 1 out of 10 by CODfan113 Don't have high expextations
The game is fun, for about 3 days. The graphics are poor with not much to do. visit the art mueseum, go shopping, visit a graveyard, that's really it. there are others but not that fun. The game crushed all of my heart. I had such high expectations but you can't do anything. My sister thinks it's fun but i don't. You can't make more than one sim per profile. This game is so boring. do not have high expectations at all or your return this game in a heartbeat. Try to avoid this game or your kid will just be sad all week. I haven't played it from other systems so i couldn't tell. The sims DON"T have free will and they get hungry so fast and always have to use the restroom. you barely have any room to make a bigger house or buy cool stuff. you can barely costumize your sim and other sims always want to sleep when you talk to them. The game gets boring quick and it's hard to get a promotion unless you click "Work Hard". There is no wifi connection feature and even if you marry someone you'll hate it because now you have 2 sims who are always stressed, hungry, bored, tired, and have to use the bathroom. There's like no traits at all and all this outfits that no one in there right mind would ever ware. Try sims for xbox 360 or wii. I don't know but they look more fun. this game is boring though. boring game. Writing and reading this review is more intertaining then this game.
Rated 10 out of 10 by sims3aundre best sims game ever would recommed it.
this sims game is more fun than all the other sims for the ds. You can finally build your own home and go places instead of going on a copmputer to buy things. I would recommend it to someone that loves sims. It would of been fun to have kids but thats ok. People complain on here they cannot have kids but complain when they get married they have to control two people no matter what you would have to control more than one person if you had kids or only married. I think the computer version sucked because all it did was freeze my computor . This simsfor ds will only freeze if you dont buy it at gamestop.
Rated 7 out of 10 by wonderwoman BORING THEN FUN
I LIKED THIS GAME WHEN I FIRST GOT IT BUT THEN IT GOT BORING WHEN MY SIM GOT MARRIED BECAUSE I HAD TO CONTROL BOTH OF THEIR LIVES N I HAD TO KEEP THEM FEED N KEEP THEM WELL SLEPT.IT ALSO GOT BORING WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT U CANT HAVE CHILDREN.I GUESS IT WAS BORING BECAUSE IT WAS RATED *E* FOR EVERYONE.BUT IT WAS FUN WHEN I STARTED MEETING OTHER SIMS N INVITING THEM OVER.BUT THE WORST PART IS THAT WHEN U GET A JOB IT TAKES ABOUT 6 HOURS OR LESS TO FINISH.U CAN ALSO GO TO THE DANCE CLUB TO BOOST YOUR MOOD UP.BUT THAT IS JUST HOW I FEEL ABOUT THE GAME.ITS TOTALLY WORTH YOUR MONEY.HOPE THIS WAS HELPFUL!!!
Rated 7 out of 10 by Beka Fun at first but not as good as other Sims...
I got this game cause i thought it would be a good replacement for the mac version but almost nothing like the other console and mac version! The graphics are horrible (kinda like any other ds game), and u cant have a baby, u cant have more than one floor in ur house, the cars look really bad, and i was probably board with it by the third day, and then i started to just do the same stuff every day and the sims needs go by really fast. So if u are looking for a good sims 3, i would recomend the pc or mac version.
