| Set in the late 1980s, gamers will take on the role of the fearless mountaineer as he climbs the Himalayas on a quest to find his lost brother. As he ascends the mountain, he encounters an ancient curse: the souls of the people who died in that region and are stuck in limbo.

- Revolutionary Wii Title: One of the first survival/horror games designed specifically for the Wii, Cursed Mountain creates a terrifying setting in a stylized, atmospheric manner.
- Vertical Level Design: As players ascend the mountain, they will clearly see the summit in the distance, a looming reminder of their final destination, and they can also look behind to see how far they’ve gone.
- Innovative Wii Controls: Designed to mimic the physical aspects of sacred prayer rituals, mantras, and gestures of Buddhism, combat is comprised of gestures that release the spirits from the curse. In addition, Cursed Mountain takes full advantage of the Wii functionality, supporting the Wiimote speaker, rumble pack and motion-sensitivity in a variety of triggered action events that mimic natural movements, such as climbing, running and pushing away enemies.
- Environmental Hazards: As players climb higher, the mountain itself becomes an enemy. Prone to the travails of altitude sickness and oxygen deprivation, players may not be able to tell the difference between real enemies and hallucinated ones.
- Extreme Setting: Without the security of GPS, cell phones or high altitude rescue teams, only the most intrepid climbers dared take on the Himalayas in the 80s. For better or for worse - once on the mountain, climbers could only rely on their experience and the contents of their backpacks to make it down alive.

| I've played a lot of survivor horror games and they're all great - with Fatal Frame Crimson Butterfly being the scariest and they all freak you out. They each have a little bit of a different feel to them. With Condemned, it is a realistic feeling game and you feel like being stuck in the middle of the night in abandoned buildings with killers around can happen to you, with the Silent Hill series,...[More] |

It's about time we had a traditonal horror game come out. And by that I mean that this game is not about running around and shooting monsters/zombies/ or aliens. This game (so far) has all the elements that the original survival horror games like the early resident evil games and silent hill provided. It provides and outmosphere of loneliness and hopelessness.
Pros: Unique storyline, ...[More] |

| I have been playing Cursed Mountain for a few days now and am very impressed by it. Cursed Mountain is original in content and very scary. I like the fact to fight or kill enemies one uses rituals, spells, not the usual predictable shooter stuff. The game is amazing to look at great setting in rural mountains, the ghost and evil spirits, I am so glad I bought this game. I am so glad Cursed Mountai...[More] |
