- Create a Mii Character:
- Personalize your experience by creating a Mii™ character when you register—a first for the Nintendo DS™ system. This represents you, and can be customized with facial features, clothing, and more. Save up to four Mii characters on one game card, whether human or pet! You can even import Mii characters from a Wii™ console.
- Set Your Goals:
- Personal Trainer: Walking lets you set a total daily step count, and your Activity Meter accessory lights green when you've met your goal. Set additional mini targets for yourself, like extra physical activity. Evaluate and track your progress each day with ease. The Activity Meter accessory will only start tracking your steps after ten seconds of continuous movement so you can accurately keep track of your walking patterns.
- Be Supported:
- See how your steps stack up against friends or family members! You can earn in-game trophies for Most Active Walking, Most Mini Targets Achieved, and much more. Compare your ranking against fellow "walkaholics" from around the world using Nintendo® Wi-Fi Connection*.
- Analyze Your Life Rhythm:
- Get into the nitty gritty of your routine! Head to Rhythm Details to see the complete breakdown, then sort your results by minute with the Rhythm Graph, or per step using the Step Graph. The Calendar lets you take a step back and look at your long-term progress. How many steps does it take to light up a house? Find out when you try Illuminate, an electrifying addition to your life rhythm activities. The more you walk, the more you see—try Walk the World or Space Walk to add some mileage to your walking goals.

I've been working on losing weight and this adds a pleasant twist to my daily walks.
The controls are basic and straight forward. There isn't very much going for sound which also isn't so much a big deal since the main focus is obviously keeping record. Graphics and animation is simple.
The enjoyable features that keep it interesting is how one's steps can be played around with such ...[More] |

This is a nice addition to the Personal Trainer series. The pedometers allow you to record each steps throughout the day. You can then compare your walking routines by days, weeks, years even. This might sound a little silly, but you actually pay more attention to your "active" time, day to day. The first goal is set to 3,000 steps per day by default, which sounds a little high, ...[More] |
