I got this pedal for Christmas and have been using it since then because my original Rock Band pedal broke.
Pros: I do like the fact that this pedal is wider than the stock drum pedal. It fits my wide feet better than the original. It also has a shorter throw so fast bass notes are easier to play than on the stock drum pedal.

| Honestly these are some really good drums. The other guy said you have to use a boot probably because he didn't take it out on its BACK! The cashier should tell you to open it on it's back. It doesn't brake as easily as the default pedals. IT hits rubber instead of the plastic on the bottom. The one that I bought was bought for Wii. | I can't speak for Rock Band 1 or 2, but I decided to buy this pedal for dual pedals for Guitar Hero: Metallica. It was easy to set up (just a simple fork connector), but the sensitivity was atrocious. The picture on the back of the box shows a boot stomping on the pedal, and that is indeed what you need.
