It's less than two-thirds the size of the original Nintendo DS and more than 20 percent lighter. Its two bright screens can be adjusted to four levels to adapt to different lighting conditions and to extend battery power. The microphone sits in the center of the unit, and the LED lights are clearly visible whether the unit is open or closed. The stylus is 1 centimeter longer and 1 millimeter thicker than the stylus of the original, and slides into a side storage slot. The Start and Select buttons were repositioned for easier access. A removable cover keeps the Game Boy Advance cartridge slot clear from dust and debris when it’s not in use.

| I got this system thinking it would be fun, but i was wrong. this system had very few pros and alot of cons. the only pros i can say it has are it's design and sound. for starters its design is great. it is easy to hold and doesn't break easaly. i left it out in the rain and it still worked. and becous it is a flip open it is has a protective shell so you can drop it and it will still work fine. i...[More] |

| Nintendo's DS Lite has amazed(flattered) me, for the last time! Before I ask you to buy this system for entertainment let me tell you ; it's mostly for Kids & Teens. And there is'ntmuch violent games for the DS except for cartoon violence. | I just got this system because I am a huge fan of nintendo and all of their games and I have to say that this is one of the greatest systems out right now.
