As you can guess from having the word 'Carnival' in the title, the game is more about fun than being realistic. The ball roles and reacts with a reasonable amount of realism. The putting requires input similar to real life, but simplified to make the game easily playable by a range of players with different skill levels. The realism stops at the course design.
